4. Setup and Assembly

Estimated assembly time: 30 minutes. It is recommended to assemble the chair with two people for easier handling.

  1. Attach Casters to Base: Insert the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the star base until they click securely into place.
  2. Install Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the star base. Cover it with the gas lift cover.
  3. Attach Mechanism Plate to Seat: Secure the mechanism plate to the underside of the seat cushion using the provided screws. Ensure the front of the mechanism plate aligns with the front of the seat.
  4. Attach Armrests: Fasten the armrests to the sides of the seat cushion using the designated screws. Do not overtighten initially.
  5. Connect Backrest to Seat: Attach the backrest to the seat cushion and armrests using the remaining screws. Once all screws are in place, tighten them firmly.
  6. Place Assembled Seat onto Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring it is centered and stable.
  7. Attach Cushions: Secure the headrest and lumbar support cushions to the backrest using their elastic straps. Adjust their positions for optimal comfort.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Seat Height Adjustment

To adjust the seat height, locate the lever on the right side under the seat (often marked "LIFT").

  • To raise the seat: While seated, lift the lever and slightly lift your weight off the seat. The seat will rise. Release the lever at the desired height.
  • To lower the seat: While seated, lift the lever and apply your full weight to the seat. The seat will lower. Release the lever at the desired height.

5.2. Backrest Recline Adjustment

The backrest can be reclined for various postures. Locate the lever on the left side under the seat (often marked "LOCK" or with a recline icon).

  • To recline: Pull the recline lever upwards. Lean back to the desired angle. Release the lever to lock the backrest in position.
  • To return to upright position: Pull the recline lever upwards and lean forward slightly. The backrest will return to its upright position. Release the lever to lock.
