4. Setup

4.1. Attaching the Battery

The pump is designed for use with the 18V POWER FOR ALL ALLIANCE battery system. To attach the battery, align the battery pack with the battery slot on the pump's control unit and slide it in until it clicks securely into place.

4.2. Adjusting the Aluminum Tube

The aluminum tube's length can be adjusted to suit the height of your rain barrel. Loosen the locking mechanism on the tube, extend or retract the tube to the desired length, and then secure the locking mechanism firmly.

4.3. Removing the Base

For situations requiring lower residual water suction (down to approximately 5mm), the pump's base can be removed. Refer to the diagrams in the full manual for detailed instructions on detaching the base.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Initial Operation

Once the battery is attached and the pump is positioned in the rainwater tank, ensure the outlet hose is properly connected and directed to where you want the water to flow. Press the power button to start the pump.

5.2. Timer Function

The pump features a timer function for automated operation. You can select operating durations of 5, 10, or 15 minutes. The pump will automatically shut off after the selected time. This feature helps conserve battery life and prevents over-pumping.

5.3. Dry Run Automatic Stop
