1. Setup and Assembly
This section provides step-by-step instructions for assembling your SONGMICS RLS006B01 laundry basket. Ensure all parts are present before beginning assembly.
1.1 Package Contents
Verify that you have received all the following components:
- Steel Frame Components
- 1 x Removable Laundry Bag
- 4 x Casters (2 with brakes)

1.2 Assembly Steps
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, flat surface. Refer to the exploded view diagram to identify each part.
- Assemble the Steel Frame: Connect the steel tubes according to the numbered parts in the instructions. Ensure all connections are secure but do not fully tighten screws until the frame is complete.
- Attach Casters: Insert the 4 casters into the designated holes at the bottom of the steel frame. Two of these casters include brakes. Push firmly until they click into place.
- Install Laundry Bag: Place the removable laundry bag inside the assembled steel frame. Secure the bag to the top rim of the frame using the attached clasps. Ensure the bag is evenly distributed and securely fastened around the entire circumference.
- Final Tightening: Once all components are in place, fully tighten all screws to ensure the frame is stable and rigid.

2. Operating Instructions
This section details how to effectively use your laundry basket.
2.1 Loading Laundry
The 18.5-gallon (70 L) capacity allows for a significant amount of laundry. Simply place clothes and bedding into the removable bag. The bag is designed to hold up to 33 lb (15 kg).

2.2 Moving and Locking
The laundry basket is equipped with four casters for easy mobility. Two of these casters have brakes to secure the basket in place.
- To Move: Ensure the brakes on the casters are disengaged (unlocked). Gently push or pull the basket to your desired location.
- To Lock: Once the basket is in position, press down on the levers of the two locking casters to engage the brakes. This will prevent the basket from rolling.

2.3 Removing the Laundry Bag
For convenient transport of laundry to the washing machine, the bag can be easily removed from the steel frame.
- Detach Clasps: Unhook the clasps securing the bag to the frame.
- Lift Bag: Carefully lift the bag out of the frame.

3. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your laundry basket.
3.1 Cleaning the Laundry Bag
The laundry bag is made from durable polyester fabric with a PVC coating, making it water-resistant.
- Spot Cleaning: For minor spills or dirt, wipe the bag with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
- Deep Cleaning: The bag can be hand-washed with cold water and air-dried. Do not machine wash or tumble dry, as this may damage the PVC coating.
- Ensure the bag is completely dry before reattaching it to the frame to prevent mildew.
3.2 Cleaning the Steel Frame
The steel frame has a rust-resistant powder coating.
- Wipe the frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the coating.
- Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary.
3.3 Caster Maintenance
- Periodically check casters for lint, hair, or debris that may hinder smooth rolling. Clean as needed.
- Ensure the locking mechanism on the braked casters functions correctly.
