1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your 2NLF Solar Outdoor Security Camera Kit, Model GAD3001WT. This system includes 2K 4MP WiFi cameras, offering color night vision, two-way audio, PIR motion detection, and IP66 weather resistance, all managed through the EseeCloud App. Please read these instructions carefully before use.

2. Package Contents

3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Initial Camera Charging

Before installation, ensure all cameras are fully charged. Connect each camera to its power adapter and charge for approximately 10 hours.

3.2 Camera Power On and Reset

  1. Press and hold the power button on the camera for 5-8 seconds to turn it on.
  2. To reset the camera, use a pin to press and hold the reset button for 7-30 seconds until you hear a voice prompt.

3.3 NVR and Camera Connection

The cameras are pre-paired with the NVR. Simply power on the NVR and cameras, and they will connect automatically. Connect the NVR to a monitor via HDMI and a USB mouse for initial configuration.

3.4 EseeCloud App Setup

  1. Download the EseeCloud app from your smartphone's app store.
  2. Register an account and log in.
  3. Click the '+' icon in the app and enable Bluetooth to automatically find nearby devices.
  4. Select your camera system and click 'Add'.
  5. Enter your home WiFi details (supports 2.4GHz only).
  6. Once configured, you can view live video feeds.

3.5 Waterproof Connector Installation

Ensure proper installation of the waterproof connector for outdoor use to protect the Ethernet port.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Live View

Access live video feeds from all connected cameras through the NVR monitor or the EseeCloud mobile app. The system supports up to 4 cameras for comprehensive coverage.

4.2 Motion Detection (PIR)

The cameras feature advanced PIR motion detection. When motion is detected, you will receive smart notifications on your phone, such as "motion detected" or "someone passing by." Notifications include an image preview for quick response. You can customize detection zones and sensitivity levels (low, medium, high) to reduce false positives.

4.3 Two-Way Audio

Communicate directly through the camera using the two-way audio feature. This allows you to speak to visitors or deter intruders from your smartphone.

4.4 Night Vision

The cameras provide clear 2K 4MP image quality day and night. The built-in spotlight enables bright color night vision, while infrared night vision is also available for discreet monitoring.

4.5 Video Quality

5. Maintenance

5.1 Power Management

The cameras are equipped with a 5200 mAh battery and a solar panel, allowing for continuous operation for 1 to 6 months depending on usage frequency. The solar panel ensures regular charging without manual intervention, providing 365-day protection.

5.2 Weather Resistance

The cameras are IP66 rated, meaning they are protected against dust and powerful water jets, making them suitable for outdoor use in various weather conditions.

5.3 Storage

The NVR supports local recording and includes a 128GB TF card slot for additional storage. Ensure the TF card is properly inserted for continuous recording.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Camera not connecting: Ensure the camera is powered on and within range of the NVR. Perform a camera reset if necessary.
  • App connection issues: Verify your smartphone's Bluetooth is enabled and your WiFi network is 2.4GHz. Re-add the device in the EseeCloud app.
  • False motion alerts: Adjust the PIR sensitivity settings in the EseeCloud app (low, medium, high) and customize detection zones to exclude irrelevant areas.
  • Poor video quality: Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from obstructions. Check network stability.
  • Battery not charging: Ensure the solar panel is clean and receiving direct sunlight. Check the connection between the solar panel and the camera.
