4.2 Installation Steps

1. Plan Placement: Determine the exact location for each light bar, motion sensor, and the main controller. Each light bar is numbered; follow this numbering during installation to ensure proper functionality and light sequencing.
2. Mount Light Bars:
   • Drilling Method (Recessed): For a flush finish, drill appropriate holes under the nose of each stair tread. Secure the light bars using the provided mounting clips and screws.
   • Adhesive Method: Alternatively, use the nano double-sided adhesive to attach the light bars directly to the desired surface. Ensure the surface is clean and dry for optimal adhesion.

3. Install Motion Sensors: Position the two motion sensors at the top and bottom of the staircase. Ensure they have a clear line of sight for optimal motion detection.
4. Connect Wiring:
   • Connect each numbered light strip to the corresponding output on the controller.
   • Connect the motion sensors and brightness sensor to the designated input ports on the controller.
   • Connect the power adapter to the controller and then to a suitable electrical outlet.

5. Secure Cables: Use cable clips to neatly secure all wiring, preventing tripping hazards and maintaining a clean appearance.
6. Test System: Once all connections are made, plug in the power adapter and test the system using the remote control.
