Setup

1. Placement

Place the washing machine on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is enough space around the machine for ventilation and access. The compact size (18.2"L x 18.2"W x 31.4"H) allows for placement in various locations such as dorms, apartments, or RVs.

2. Leveling

The machine is equipped with a front adjustable leveling leg. Rotate the feet until the machine is perfectly level. This is crucial for stable operation and to prevent excessive vibration during spin cycles.

3. Water Inlet Connection

Connect the provided high-quality inlet hose to the water inlet on the back of the machine and to a water faucet. Use the included faucet adapter for easy installation if needed.

4. Drain Hose Connection

Attach the upgraded extended drain hose to the drain outlet on the machine. Position the other end of the drain hose into a sink, bathtub, or suitable drain. The powerful built-in drain pump allows for easy drainage from high or low positions.

Operating Instructions

The Nictemaw Portable Washing Machine features an intuitive LED display and push-button controls for easy operation.

1. Loading Laundry

Open the transparent lid and load clothes into the stainless steel inner tub. Do not overload the machine; ensure clothes are distributed as evenly as possible to prevent imbalance during the spin cycle. The machine has an automatic imbalance adjustment feature.

2. Adding Detergent

Add the appropriate amount of detergent to the detergent dispenser according to the load size and detergent type.

3. Selecting Program

The machine offers 10 programs to meet various laundry needs. Use the "Program" button to cycle through options such as Common, Normal, Quick, Blanket, Air Dry, Soak, Wash, Spin, Wash and Rinses, and Rinses and Spin. The selected program will be indicated on the LED display.

4. Selecting Water Level

Choose from 8 water level selections using the "Water Level" button to match the size of your laundry load. This helps conserve water and energy.

5. Delay Start Function (24-Hour Smart Delay Cleaning)

To use the delay start function, press the "Delay" button. You can preset the washing start time up to 24 hours in advance. This allows you to schedule laundry cycles at your convenience.

6. Starting the Cycle

Once the program and water level are selected, press the "Start/Pause" button to begin the wash cycle. You can pause the cycle at any time by pressing this button again.

7. Child Lock

To activate the child lock, press and hold the "Program" and "Water Level" buttons simultaneously for a few seconds. This will lock the control panel to prevent accidental changes during operation, ensuring child safety and laundry safety.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your washing machine.

1. Cleaning the Lint Filter

The machine features a built-in lint filter to remove hairs and debris. Regularly detach and clean the filter to maintain washing efficiency and prevent blockages.

2. Tub Air Dry Self Cleaning

Utilize the tub air dry self-cleaning function to prevent dirt accumulation and inhibit bacterial growth. This feature uses a high-pressure pulse jet water system to scour the tub wall, keeping the barrel dry and odor-free.

3. Exterior Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.

4. Winterization (if applicable)

If the machine will be stored in an unheated area during winter, ensure all water is drained from the hoses and pump to prevent freezing and damage.
