- Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS): This heater is equipped with an ODS system designed to shut off the heater if oxygen levels become too low. Do not tamper with or disable this safety feature.
- Tip-Over Shut-Off: The heater will automatically shut off if it is accidentally tipped over. Ensure the heater is placed on a stable, level surface.
- Clearances: Maintain minimum clearances from combustible materials. Refer to the product label for specific distances.
- Fuel: Use only 1 lb disposable propane cylinders. Do not use larger propane tanks or attempt to refill disposable cylinders.
- Operation: Never leave the heater unattended while in operation. Keep children and pets away from the heater.
- Storage: Store propane cylinders in a well-ventilated area, away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Never store propane cylinders indoors or near ignition sources.
- Inspection: Before each use, inspect the heater and propane cylinder for damage or leaks. Do not use if damaged.

Product Components

The heater consists of a main heating unit with a protective wire guard, an adjustable head, a control knob with piezo ignition, a sturdy base with expandable legs, and a connection point for a 1 lb propane tank.
Setup Instructions
- Unpack: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging and inspect for any damage.
- Positioning: Place the heater on a firm, level, non-combustible surface. Ensure adequate clearance from walls, furniture, and other combustible materials as specified in the safety section and on the product label.
- Expand Base: Extend the legs of the sturdy base for maximum stability.
- Attach Propane Tank:
- Ensure the heater's control knob is in the "OFF" position.
- Screw a 1 lb disposable propane cylinder into the heater's connection point. Hand-tighten only. Do not over-tighten.
- Check for leaks: Apply a soapy water solution to the connection point. If bubbles appear, there is a leak. Tighten the connection or replace the cylinder if necessary. Do not operate the heater if a leak is detected.

Attaching a 1lb propane tank to the heater's swivel valve. - Ventilation: Confirm that the area of operation has sufficient ventilation, especially if used indoors.
Operating Instructions
- Ignition:
- Ensure the propane tank is securely attached.
- Turn the control knob slowly counter-clockwise to the "IGNITE" position. You should hear a click as the piezo igniter sparks.
- Hold the knob in the "IGNITE" position for 10-15 seconds to allow gas to flow and the thermocouple to heat up.
- If the heater does not light, release the knob, wait 30 seconds, and repeat the ignition process.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Ensure the heater is completely cool before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the burner and ventilation openings free of dust and debris.
- Storage: When not in use, disconnect the propane cylinder. Store the heater in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
- Propane Cylinder Handling: Always handle propane cylinders with care. Do not drop or expose them to excessive heat.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Heater does not light. | Propane tank empty or improperly connected. Igniter not sparking. ODS activated. | Check propane tank level and connection. Ensure igniter clicks when knob is turned. Ensure adequate ventilation and hold knob for 10-15 seconds during ignition. |
| Heater lights but goes out shortly after. | Control knob not held long enough. ODS activated due to low oxygen. Tip-over sensor activated. | Hold the control knob for 10-15 seconds after ignition. Ensure proper ventilation. Place heater on a stable, level surface. |
| Weak flame or low heat output. | Low propane level. Partially clogged burner. | Replace propane tank. Ensure burner is clean and free of debris. |
| Smell of gas. | Gas leak. | Immediately turn off the heater and propane supply. Move to a well-ventilated area. Check all connections for leaks using soapy water. Do not operate if a leak persists. Contact customer support if unable to resolve. |
