5. Setup
5.1 Location and Mounting
Choose a dry, well-ventilated area for installation. Ensure there is sufficient space around the inverter for airflow, especially near the cooling fans. Mount the inverter securely on a flat, stable surface.
5.2 DC Input Connection
- Ensure the inverter is turned OFF.
- Connect the red battery cable to the positive (+) terminal of your 12V battery.
- Connect the other end of the red cable to the positive (+) DC input terminal on the inverter.
- Connect the black battery cable to the negative (-) terminal of your 12V battery.
- Connect the other end of the black cable to the negative (-) DC input terminal on the inverter.
- Ensure all connections are tight and secure.
5.3 Grounding
Connect a grounding wire from the inverter's grounding terminal to a proper earth ground point (e.g., vehicle chassis, ground rod).
5.4 Remote Control Connection
Plug the 6-meter remote control cable into the 'Remote Connect' port on the inverter and the corresponding port on the remote control panel.
