6.3. Charging Function
The device can charge 18650 batteries with an automatic cutoff when they reach full charge (4.2V). This function is not suitable for lithium iron phosphate batteries.
- Ensure the appropriate Type-C power supply is connected to the correct port for the channels you intend to charge (Port 1 for CHN1/CHN2, Port 2 for CHN3/CHN4).
- Insert the battery into the desired channel.
- Use the Channel/CHN button to select the channel.
- Press the Menu/M button to navigate to the 'MODE' setting, then use the Adjust/S button to set it to 'CHG' (Charge).
- Press the Start/Stop/R/S button to begin charging. The channel status indicator will blink, and the display will show 'STA: CHG'.
6.4. Discharge Function
The discharge function automatically stops when predetermined conditions are met, preventing over-discharging. It is compatible with batteries having a discharge voltage between 2.5V and 3.5V.
- Insert the battery into the desired channel.
- Use the Channel/CHN button to select the channel.
- Press the Menu/M button to navigate to the 'MODE' setting, then use the Adjust/S button to set it to 'DSG' (Discharge).
- Navigate to the 'STOP' voltage setting and use the Adjust/S button to set the desired stop discharge voltage (e.g., 3.0V).
- Press the Start/Stop/R/S button to begin discharging. The channel status indicator will blink, and the display will show 'STA: DSG'.
6.5. Capacity Testing
Battery capacity testing is completed through a discharge cycle. The full capacity value is obtained only when the discharge process automatically ends.
- Follow the steps for the Discharge Function (Section 6.4).
- Once the discharge cycle is complete, the display will show the cumulative capacity in mAh (milliampere-hours).

Image: Example table demonstrating capacity testing results, showing battery serial number, internal resistance, and measured capacity (mAh).
6.6. Internal Resistance Testing
The device measures internal resistance using a direct current two-wire method.
- Insert the battery into the desired channel.
- Wait for a few seconds for the device to load and stabilize the battery data.
- The display will show the battery voltage and internal resistance parameters (in milliohms, mR).
Important Notes:
- The accuracy of internal resistance measurement is highest when the battery is fully charged.
- Internal resistance may appear excessively high when the battery voltage is low; please reinstall the battery for measurement after it is fully charged.
- The internal resistance of individual batteries may vary; rely on actual measurement results.
- When testing batteries using extension cords, line resistance may increase, which can affect measurement accuracy.

- When removing batteries, especially if they are snug, use the provided orange prying tool to prevent damage to the battery holders or the device.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself. Refer to qualified personnel for service.
- Store the device in a safe place when not in use, away from dust and potential physical damage.
8. Troubleshooting
- Device not powering on:
- Ensure a compatible DC5V Type-C power supply is connected securely to one of the Type-C ports.
- Try a different Type-C cable and power adapter, as some power supplies may be incompatible or insufficient. - Battery not detected or error reading:
- Verify that the battery is inserted with correct polarity.
- Confirm that the battery is a flat-top 18650 type. Protected or button-top 18650 batteries may not fit or make proper contact.
- Ensure the battery voltage is within the supported range (2.5V-4.2V). - Inaccurate internal resistance readings:
- For best accuracy, ensure the battery is fully charged before testing internal resistance.
- Avoid using long or thin extension cords for testing, as their resistance can affect the measurement. - Display language is incorrect (Chinese instead of English):
- Follow the language switching procedure outlined in Section 6.2. - Automatic mode not working as expected:
- Verify that the stop discharge voltage is set correctly and is not less than 2.8V.
- Ensure the number of loops is configured as desired.
