Installation Guide
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the light unit.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 4 D-cell batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Securely close the battery compartment cover to maintain the IP65 waterproof seal.

2. Mounting the Light
- Choose a suitable mounting location. The recommended installation height is 8-9 feet (2.4-2.7 meters) for optimal motion detection.
- Mark the desired screw positions on the wall or surface using the mounting base as a template.
- Drill pilot holes if necessary, and insert wall anchors if mounting into drywall or masonry.
- Attach the mounting base securely to the surface using the provided screws.
- Slide the light unit onto the mounted base until it clicks into place.
- Adjust the two light heads to cover the desired illumination area.

Operation
Motion Sensor Functionality
The iThird Motion Sensor Light is equipped with a highly sensitive passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor. This sensor detects heat signatures from moving objects such as people, cars, or animals within its detection zone.
- Sensing Angle: The sensor has a wide 180° detection angle.
- Sensing Distance: It can detect motion up to 30 feet (9 meters) away.
- Activation: When motion is detected in dark conditions, the light will automatically turn on. It will remain on as long as motion is continuously detected within its range. After motion ceases, the light will turn off after approximately 20-30 seconds.

Dusk to Dawn Photocell
The integrated photocell sensor ensures that the light only operates when ambient light levels are low enough (at dusk or night). This conserves battery power by preventing the light from activating during daylight hours.
- Daytime: The light remains off, even if motion is detected.
- Nighttime: The motion sensor becomes active, and the light will turn on when motion is detected.

Adjusting Light Heads
The two LED light heads are independently adjustable. You can manually pivot them horizontally and vertically to direct the light precisely where it is needed, customizing the coverage area.

Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe the light unit with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and debris. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: When the light output diminishes or the light begins to flash, it indicates low battery power. Replace all 4 D-cell batteries simultaneously with new ones to ensure optimal performance.
