1. Important Safety Instructions
Please read all instructions carefully before using the SOKANY WK-1710-4 Immersion Hand Blender. Retain this manual for future reference.
- Electrical Safety: Ensure the voltage indicated on the appliance matches your local mains voltage before connecting. Do not immerse the motor unit in water or other liquids. Always unplug the appliance from the power supply before cleaning, assembling, or disassembling parts.
- Blade Safety: The blades are very sharp. Handle with extreme care when assembling, disassembling, and cleaning. Always keep fingers and utensils away from moving blades during operation.
- Children and Supervision: This appliance should not be used by children. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children.
- Usage Environment: Use the appliance only for its intended household purpose. Do not use outdoors. Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
- Overheating Protection: To prevent overheating, do not operate the appliance continuously for more than 1 minute. Allow it to cool down for at least 10 minutes before resuming use.

2. Product Overview and Components

3. Assembly
Before first use, wash all parts that will come into contact with food (except the motor unit) in warm soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
3.1 Attaching the Blending Shaft
- Align the blending shaft with the motor unit.
- Twist the blending shaft clockwise until it locks securely into place.
3.2 Attaching the Whisk Attachment
- Insert the whisk into the whisk gear box.
- Align the whisk gear box with the motor unit.
- Twist the whisk gear box clockwise until it locks securely into place.
3.3 Attaching the Chopper Attachment
- Carefully place the chopper blade onto the central pin inside the chopper bowl.
- Add ingredients to the chopper bowl.
- Place the chopper lid onto the chopper bowl, ensuring it is properly seated.
- Align the motor unit with the chopper lid.
- Twist the motor unit clockwise until it locks securely into place.

4. Operating Instructions
Always ensure the appliance is properly assembled and plugged into a suitable power outlet before operation.
4.1 Speed Settings

- Button I (Low Speed): Press and hold button 'I' for continuous operation at a lower speed. This speed can be adjusted further using the speed control knob (if present, otherwise it's a fixed low speed).
- Button II (High Speed / Turbo Mode): Press and hold button 'II' for continuous operation at the maximum speed. This is the Turbo Mode, providing a burst of extra power.
Release the button to stop the appliance.
4.2 Blending (Immersion Blender)
- Attach the blending shaft to the motor unit.
- Immerse the blending shaft into the ingredients in a suitable container (e.g., the provided beaker, a pot, or a deep bowl). Ensure the blade guard is fully submerged to prevent splashing.
- Press and hold either Button I or Button II to start blending. Move the blender gently up and down and in circles to ensure even blending.
- Release the button to stop. Unplug the appliance before removing the blending shaft.
4.3 Chopping (Chopper Attachment)
- Assemble the chopper attachment as described in Section 3.3.
- Place the chopper bowl on a flat, stable surface.
- Plug in the appliance. Press and hold either Button I or Button II in short pulses (pulse action) to chop ingredients to your desired consistency. For coarser results, use shorter pulses. For finer results, use longer pulses.
- Release the button to stop. Unplug the appliance before disassembling and removing chopped ingredients.

4.4 Whisking (Whisk Attachment)
- Attach the whisk attachment to the motor unit.
- Place the whisk into the ingredients in a suitable bowl.
- Plug in the appliance. Press and hold either Button I or Button II to start whisking. Move the whisk gently to incorporate air and mix ingredients.
- Release the button to stop. Unplug the appliance before removing the whisk.
5. Cleaning and Maintenance
Proper cleaning and maintenance ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your SOKANY WK-1710-4 Immersion Hand Blender.
- Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- Motor Unit: Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Never immerse it in water or any other liquid.
- Blending Shaft, Whisk, Chopper Bowl, Chopper Blade, Beaker: These detachable parts are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, they can be washed by hand in warm soapy water, then rinsed and dried thoroughly.
- Sharp Blades: Handle the chopper blade and blending shaft blades with extreme care during cleaning to avoid injury.
- Storage: Store the appliance and its attachments in a dry place, out of reach of children.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your appliance, refer to the following troubleshooting guide:
