Maintenance

  • Waterproof Case Care: After each use in water, rinse the waterproof case with fresh water and allow it to air dry completely before storing. Inspect the seal for any debris or damage.
  • Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Avoid fully discharging batteries for extended periods. If not using the camera for a long time, remove the batteries.
  • SD Card Management: Regularly back up your files to a computer or external storage. Format the SD card periodically (after backing up) to maintain optimal performance and prevent data corruption.
  • Camera Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the camera body and lenses. For stubborn smudges on the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning solution. Avoid abrasive materials.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible Solution
Remote control not working.
  • Ensure the camera's remote function is set to "ON" in the settings menu.
  • Verify the camera is in Video/Photo preview mode, not Playback or Setting Menu.
  • Check the remote's battery.
  • Ensure you are within the 10-15 meter range.
No audio when using waterproof case. This is normal. The waterproof case is completely sealed, preventing the use of the external microphone and significantly muffling internal audio.
Cannot transfer files to computer.
  • Ensure the SD card is properly inserted into the card reader.
  • Verify the card reader is correctly connected to your computer.
  • Try a different USB port or card reader.
  • Ensure the SD card is not locked (check the small switch on the side of the card).
Camera freezes or becomes unresponsive.Remove and reinsert the battery to perform a hard reset. If the issue persists, try formatting the SD card (after backing up data).
