2. Safety Information

3.2 Electrical Connection

The cooktop requires a 220-240V AC power supply with a current of 32A-40A. It does not come with a plug and must be hardwired by a qualified electrician. Connect the black wire to L1, the white wire to L2, and the green wire to the ground wire in a junction box.

Important: Ensure the workbench has good ventilation. The inlet and outlet should not be blocked. After installation, the gap between the cooktop and the upper cabinet should be at least 760mm (30 inches).

4. Operating Instructions

The VEVOR cooktop features intuitive sensor touch controls for easy operation.

4.1 Powering On/Off

  1. To turn on the cooktop, press the On/Off button. The display will illuminate.
  2. To turn off the cooktop, press the On/Off button again.

4.2 Selecting a Burner and Adjusting Heat Levels

  2. Use the sliding control panel to adjust the heat level from 1 (low) to 9 (high).

4.3 Timer Function

  1. To activate, press and hold the Child Lock button (key icon) for a few seconds until the indicator light illuminates.
  2. To deactivate, press and hold the Child Lock button again until the indicator light turns off.

  • Residual Heat: Always observe the residual heat indicator. Do not touch or clean the cooktop surface while it is still hot to prevent burns.
  • Cooling Fan: The internal cooling fan will operate for a period after the cooktop is turned off to dissipate heat. Do not obstruct the ventilation openings.
