1. Introduction

3. Product Overview

Familiarize yourself with the physical components and controls of your ACCENTUM headphones.

3.1 Controls and Indicators

• Power Button: Located on the right earcup, used for powering on/off and Bluetooth pairing.
• Volume Up/Down Buttons: Adjusts audio volume.
• Multi-function Button: Controls playback, calls, and voice assistant.
• ANC/Transparency Button: Toggles between Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency Mode.
• USB-C Port: For charging the headphones.
• LED Indicator: Displays battery status, pairing status, and charging status.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Headphones

Before first use, fully charge the headphones. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours and provides up to 50 hours of playback. A quick 10-minute charge can provide up to 5 hours of playback.

1. Connect the supplied USB-C cable to the USB-C port on the headphone and to a power source (e.g., computer USB port or USB wall adapter).
2. The LED indicator will show the charging status. It typically glows amber during charging and turns green when fully charged.

4.2 Bluetooth Pairing

To connect your headphones to a Bluetooth device:

1. Ensure the headphones are powered off.
2. Press and hold the Power button for approximately 4 seconds until the LED indicator flashes blue and red, indicating pairing mode.
3. On your device (smartphone, laptop, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
4. Select "Sennheiser ACCENTUM" from the list of available devices.
5. Once connected, the LED indicator will flash blue.

The headphones support multipoint connectivity, allowing simultaneous connection to two Bluetooth devices. To connect a second device, repeat the pairing process. The headphones will intelligently switch between devices.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds. The LED will flash blue.
• Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds. The LED will flash red and then turn off.

5.2 Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Transparency Mode

The ACCENTUM headphones feature Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation to minimize ambient noise and Transparency Mode to stay aware of your surroundings.

• Press the dedicated ANC/Transparency button once to toggle between ANC On, Transparency Mode On, and ANC Off.

5.3 Audio Playback

• Play/Pause: Press the Multi-function button once.
• Next Track: Press the Multi-function button twice.
• Previous Track: Press the Multi-function button three times.
• Volume Up: Press the Volume Up button.
• Volume Down: Press the Volume Down button.

5.4 Call Management

• Answer/End Call: Press the Multi-function button once.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the Multi-function button for 2 seconds.

5.5 Voice Assistant

• Activate Voice Assistant: Press the Multi-function button for 2 seconds.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

• Clean the headphones with a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not use cleaning agents or solvents.
• The ear pads can be gently wiped with a damp cloth and mild soap solution, then dried thoroughly.

6.2 Storage

• When not in use, store the headphones in the provided carrying pouch to protect them from dust and damage.
• Avoid storing in extreme temperatures or high humidity.
