The Schoben L8 features an ergonomic design for comfortable handling. Key components include:

• Nozzle Release Button: Located at the top, press to detach the nozzle.

Setup

1. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the device. Connect the USB charging cable to the charging port at the bottom of the unit and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The indicator lights will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours and provides up to 70 days of use.

2. Attaching a Nozzle

1. Select the desired nozzle (e.g., Standard, Orthodontic, Brush).
2. Insert the nozzle into the hole at the top of the flosser handle until it clicks into place. Ensure it is firmly seated.
3. To remove, press the nozzle release button and pull the nozzle out.

3. Filling the Water Tank

1. Open the water tank cover located on the side of the unit.
2. Fill the 300ml water tank with lukewarm water. You may also add mouthwash as recommended by your dentist.
3. Close the water tank cover securely to prevent leakage.

Operating Instructions

1. Select a Mode: Press the 'M' (Mode) button to cycle through the available cleaning modes: Soft, Normal, Strong, and DIY. Choose the mode that suits your comfort and cleaning needs.
2. Position the Nozzle: Lean over a sink and place the nozzle tip into your mouth, aiming it at your gumline at a 90-degree angle.
3. Power On: Press the On/Off button to start the water flow.
4. Floss: Guide the water stream along your gumline, pausing briefly between teeth. Allow the water to flow into the sink.
5. Clean All Areas: Ensure you clean both the front and back surfaces of your teeth, as well as around any dental work like braces or crowns. The 360-degree rotatable nozzle allows for easy access to all areas of your mouth.
6. Power Off: Press the On/Off button again to stop the water flow when finished.
7. Empty Tank: After use, empty any remaining water from the tank.

Modes and Settings

The Schoben L8 offers four distinct cleaning modes to cater to individual preferences and oral health needs:

• Soft Mode: Indicated by a green light. Provides a gentle water pressure, ideal for first-time users, individuals with sensitive gums, or those with dental implants.
• Normal Mode: Indicated by a yellow light. Offers a balanced water pressure for daily cleaning and effective plaque removal.
• Strong Mode: Indicated by a red light. Delivers powerful water pressure for deep cleaning, targeting stubborn food particles and plaque.
• DIY Mode: Allows you to customize the water pressure from 40 PSI to 120 PSI. Press and hold the mode button to adjust the pressure to your desired level. This mode is suitable for users who require specific pressure settings.

The device operates with a pulse frequency of 1800 times per minute and a water pressure range of 50-140 PSI (depending on the selected mode).

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Unit

Wipe the exterior of the water flosser with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.

2. Cleaning the Water Tank

The 300ml water tank is detachable for thorough cleaning. Remove the tank from the main unit and rinse it with warm water. For deeper cleaning, you can use a mild soap and brush. Ensure the tank is completely dry before reattaching.
