4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation and Charging

Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use. The 14.4V 3000MAH Lithium-Ion battery provides stable power and charges in 40-90 minutes.

  1. Insert the charged battery into the battery slot on the tool until it clicks into place.
  2. To remove, press the battery release button and slide the battery out.
  3. Connect the charger to the battery and plug it into a power outlet to charge.

4.2 Strap Loading

Proper strap loading is crucial for effective operation.

  1. Lift the handle of the strapping tool.
  2. Insert the strapping belt into the tool, ensuring it passes through both the upper and lower guides.
  3. Make sure the strap is aligned correctly and lies flat within the guides.

5. Operation

5.1 Adjusting Tension and Welding Time

The tool features a digital panel for adjusting tension and welding time to suit different strap types and packaging requirements.

  1. Press the 'F' button to cycle between tightening force (F1) and welding time (F2) settings.
  2. Use the 'INC' (up arrow) and 'DEC' (down arrow) buttons to adjust the desired value.
  3. For tightening force, adjust according to the strap material and package stability needed.
  4. For welding time, adjust within the 1.0-5.0 seconds range. A 3-second cooling time is standard.

5.2 Strapping Process

Follow these steps to secure your package:

  1. Wrap the strapping belt around the package.
  2. Insert both ends of the strap into the tool, ensuring they are stacked correctly.
  3. Press the tensioning button (typically on the right side) to tighten the strap. The indicator light will display green during tensioning. Release the button once the desired tension is achieved.
  4. Press the welding button (often red) and hold it until the packaging belt is fused and cut off. The indicator light will display green or purple during welding. Release the button when the vibration timer stops automatically.
  5. Lift the handle and loose straps, then pull the machine to the right side and away from the straps.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your strapping tool.

6.1 Cleaning

  • Periodically clean the tool, especially the strapping guides and sealing area, to prevent residue buildup.
  • Use a dry cloth or soft brush. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

6.2 Cutter and Spring Replacement

If the cutter becomes dull or the spring is damaged, replacement may be necessary. The machine is equipped with two springs: a short spring for PET strapping and a long spring for PP strapping. Ensure the correct spring is installed for your strapping material.

  1. Remove Battery: Always remove the battery before performing any maintenance.
  2. Remove Left Cover: Unscrew and carefully remove the left cover of the tool.
  3. Access Cutter: Press the dissolve handle to expose the cutter and spring mechanism.
  4. Remove Old Cutter/Spring: Unscrew the retaining screw on the cutter and carefully remove the old cutter and spring.
  5. Install New Cutter/Spring: Place the new cutter and spring into position, ensuring the spring is correctly seated. Re-insert and tighten the screw, being careful not to overtighten.
  6. Check Movement: Verify that the cutter can slide freely up and down.
  7. Reassemble: Reinstall the left cover and secure it with screws. Insert the battery.

7. Troubleshooting
