- Detailed Instructions

Installation Process
Installation is a direct bolt-on process, requiring no welding or drilling. Locate the factory mounting points on your vehicle's frame. Attach the brackets to these points using the provided hardware. Then, secure the running boards to the installed brackets. Ensure all hardware is securely fastened according to the torque specifications in the detailed instructions. It is recommended to have a second person assist during installation for easier alignment and safety.
Operating Instructions
To use the running boards, simply step onto the non-slip pedal pad when entering or exiting your vehicle. The boards are designed to provide a stable and secure platform. Always ensure your footing is firm before applying full weight.
Maintenance
Proper maintenance will extend the life and appearance of your running boards.
- Regular Inspection: Periodically inspect the running boards for any signs of wear, damage, or loose fasteners. Check for corrosion, especially in areas exposed to road salt or harsh weather conditions.
- Cleaning: Clean the boards with mild soap and water to remove dirt, mud, and debris. Avoid abrasive cleaners, stiff brushes, or harsh chemicals that could damage the powder coating or plastic pads. Rinse thoroughly and dry to prevent water spots.
- Hardware Check: Regularly check and tighten all mounting hardware to ensure safety and stability. Loose hardware can lead to rattling or detachment.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips.
Loose Running Boards
If the running boards feel loose or unstable after installation, re-check all mounting bolts and brackets. Ensure they are correctly positioned and tightened to the recommended torque specifications found in your detailed instruction sheet. Over time, vibrations can cause bolts to loosen, so periodic checks are important.
Difficulty Aligning
Ensure the correct running board is installed on the passenger and driver side. Although they may appear similar, there can be slight measurement differences or bracket orientations for proper alignment with the vehicle's factory mounting points. Refer to the included instructions to identify the correct side for each board.
Cosmetic Issues (e.g., Visible Hardware)
Some users may find the appearance of certain hardware (e.g., chrome bolts) undesirable against the black finish. If this is a concern, consider using black-coated bolts or applying a suitable, durable black paint to the bolt heads after installation to match the running board's aesthetic.
