4. Setup and Initial Connection

  1. Prepare the Battery: Ensure the battery terminals are clean and free of corrosion. If necessary, clean them with a wire brush.
  2. Connect Battery Clamps:
    • Connect the red (+) clamp to the positive battery terminal.
    • Connect the black (-) clamp to the negative battery terminal.

    Ensure a secure connection. For vehicles, connect the negative clamp to the vehicle chassis away from the battery if the battery is still connected to the vehicle's electrical system, following vehicle manufacturer guidelines.

  3. Connect Charger to AC Power: Plug the AC power cable into a standard wall outlet. The charger will enter standby mode, indicated by a green LED.
