Setup

Battery Installation and Charging

1. Initial Setup: Before first use, open the battery compartment on the back of the radio and remove the insulating strip from the battery. Close the compartment securely.
2. Charging: Connect the provided USB Type-C charging cable to the Type-C jack on the side of the radio and the other end to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
3. Charging Indicator: A blue indicator light will illuminate when charging. The light will turn off or change color (depending on model) when fully charged.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off and Volume Control

Rotate the Power On/Off Switch & Volume Knob clockwise to turn on the radio. Continue rotating clockwise to increase the volume. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease the volume and turn off the radio.

2. Radio Tuning (AM/FM/SW)

The Gelielim radio supports FM, AM, and SW bands for versatile listening.

1. Select Band: Use the Function Slide Switch on the top of the radio to select your desired band: SW (Shortwave), AM (Amplitude Modulation), or FM (Frequency Modulation).
2. Extend Antenna: For optimal reception, especially for FM and SW, fully extend the telescope antenna. For AM, the internal antenna is usually sufficient, but adjusting the radio's orientation may improve reception.
3. Tune Station: Slowly rotate the AM/FM/SW Tuner Dial to scan for radio stations. The frequency scale on the dial will indicate the current tuning position.
4. Fine-tuning: Adjust the tuning dial slightly for the clearest possible sound.
