5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to vacuum seal your Mason jars:

1. Prepare the Jar: Wipe the rim of the Mason jar and the metal lid with a dry cloth to ensure they are clean and dry. For solid foods, leave approximately 0.5 inches of space from the top. For soft foods, leave about 1 inch of space.
2. Place the Lid: Position the metal flat lid onto the Mason jar.
3. Position the Sealer: Align the electric Mason jar sealer with the mouth of the Mason jar and press it down firmly to create a seal.
4. Start Sealing: Click the power button once to start the vacuuming process. The LED display will show the working time. For optimal sealing, a vacuuming time of 20 seconds or more is recommended. The device will automatically stop when the vacuum is complete.
