3. Setup Instructions

Setting up the Vidalido 4-6 Person Camping Tent is designed to be straightforward, typically taking 2 people around 6-8 minutes. Follow these steps for proper assembly:

  1. Choose a Location: Select a flat grassland area for setup. Avoid uneven terrain to prevent tipping.
  2. Lay Out the Inner Tent: Unfold the inner tent on the chosen spot.
  3. Assemble Poles: Connect the tent poles. The poles are pre-connected with elastic cords for easy assembly.
  4. Insert Poles: Pass the long top crossing pole through the top cross position of the inner tent.
  5. Secure Poles: Fix the ends of the poles into the plastic fittings at each corner of the tent.
  6. Raise the Tent: Support the poles on one side to begin raising the tent structure.
  7. Fasten Buckles: Secure the buckles on the sides of the tent to the poles.
  8. Attach Rainfly: Grab the back door of the rainfly and cover the inner tent from front to back. Ensure the rainfly is centered and covers the inner tent completely.
  9. Secure Rainfly: Buckle the outer account of the rainfly to the inner account. Adjust the position of the rainfly as needed.
  10. Stake Down the Tent: Fix the ground stakes obliquely inside the webbing. Fix diagonally first, then secure the two ground stakes in the middle.
  11. Attach Guylines: Put the ring on the foyer onto the thimble of the rack pole, and stick the knotted wind rope. Adjust the length of the wind rope and fix it at an angle to ensure stability.
  12. Final Adjustments: Ensure all stakes and guylines are tightened and secured to prevent the tent from being affected by wind.

Water Resistance

The tent is made with anti-tear 150D polyester and 200D Oxford fabric, featuring a PU1500mm hydrostatic rated coating for water resistance. It is designed to remain dry during light rainy days.

Note:

  • Do not use the tent in heavy rain or rainstorms.
  • Due to temperature differences between the inside and outside, small water droplets may form inside the tent, which is normal condensation.
  • In hot and rainy weather, it is recommended to pull up the outer tent to prevent rain from entering and to improve ventilation.

5. Maintenance

To prolong the life of your tent, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Hand wash the tent fabric as needed. Avoid machine washing or harsh chemicals.
  • Drying: Ensure the tent is completely dry before packing it away to prevent mold and mildew.
  • Sun Exposure: Do not leave the tent outdoors for extended periods in direct sunlight, as prolonged UV exposure can affect the fabric's service life.

6. Storage

Proper storage is essential for maintaining your tent's condition:

  1. Disassembly: Remove all stakes and guylines. Disassemble the poles and fold the tent fabric.
  2. Folding: It is easier for two people to fold the tent. Pay attention to exhausting air during folding. When folding the rainfly, fold it in half first, then into squares.
  3. Packing: Place all poles into the pole bag. Wrap the inner tent around the outer tent for storage, secure it with webbing, and place it into the carry bag.
  4. Wind Ropes: Ensure wind ropes are neatly put away for easy use next time.

The convenient carrying bag (25.1 x 8.26 x 8.26 inches, 26.4 lbs) makes the tent easy to transport and store.
