1. Important Safety Information

• Initial Placement: After receiving the unit, allow it to stand upright for more than 24 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
• Electrical Safety: Ensure the power outlet matches the voltage requirements (115 Volts, 60Hz). Do not use extension cords.
• Ventilation: Ensure adequate clearance around the unit for proper ventilation, especially if built-in. The front ventilation design requires unobstructed airflow.
• Leveling: The unit must be level to function correctly and prevent excessive vibration.

3. Setup and Installation

Unpacking and Initial Preparation:

1. Carefully remove all packaging materials.
2. Inspect the unit for any shipping damage. Report any damage to your retailer immediately.
3. Clean the interior of the unit with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
4. Crucial Step: Place the wine cooler in its desired location and allow it to stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it into a power source. This allows the compressor oils and refrigerants to settle.

Placement:

This wine cooler is designed for both freestanding and built-in installations.

• Freestanding: Requires no special installation. Ensure adequate space around the unit for air circulation.
• Built-in: The front ventilation design allows for seamless integration under counters or within cabinetry. Ensure the front grille is not obstructed to allow proper airflow.

Leveling the Unit:

Adjust the leveling legs at the bottom of the unit to ensure it is perfectly level. A level unit reduces vibration and ensures proper door sealing.

Power Connection:

Plug the unit into a dedicated, grounded 115V, 60Hz electrical outlet. Do not use an adapter or extension cord.

4. Operating Instructions

Control Panel Functions:

The control panel is located at the top of the unit, behind the glass door. It features touch-sensitive buttons for easy operation.

• Power Button (⑁): Press to turn the unit ON or OFF.
• Temperature Up (⌃): Increases the set temperature.
• Temperature Down (⌄): Decreases the set temperature.
• °C/°F Switch: Toggles the temperature display between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
• LED Light Control (☀): Turns the interior LED lighting ON or OFF.
• Temperature Unlock: Press and hold to unlock the control panel for temperature adjustments.
• Digital Display: Shows the current internal temperature or the set temperature during adjustment.

Setting the Temperature:

1. Ensure the control panel is unlocked. If locked, press and hold the 'Temperature Unlock' button.
2. Use the 'Temperature Up' (⌃) or 'Temperature Down' (⌄) buttons to set your desired temperature. The adjustable temperature range is 40-65°F (5-18°C).
3. The display will flash the set temperature and then return to showing the actual internal temperature after a few seconds.

Loading Wine Bottles:

The beechwood shelves are designed to accommodate standard Bordeaux-style 750ml bottles. For larger bottles (e.g., Pinot Noir, Champagne), you may need to remove or adjust shelves to create adequate space. Ensure bottles are placed securely to prevent rolling.

Intelligent Temperature Memory:

This feature ensures that if power is interrupted, the wine cooler will automatically revert to your last programmed temperature setting once power is restored, protecting your wine collection.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Cleaning the Interior:

1. Unplug the unit before cleaning.
2. Remove all bottles and shelves.
3. Wash the interior surfaces with a solution of warm water and baking soda (2 tablespoons of baking soda to 1 quart of water).
4. Rinse thoroughly and wipe dry.

Cleaning the Exterior:

Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth and mild detergent. For stainless steel surfaces, use a stainless steel cleaner. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.

Beechwood Shelf Care:

The beechwood shelves can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Avoid soaking them in water. Ensure they are completely dry before returning them to the unit.

Defrosting:

This unit features an automatic defrost system, eliminating the need for manual defrosting. Any accumulated frost will melt and evaporate.
