5. Installation Instructions

5.1 Pre-Installation: Select Color Temperature (CCT)

Before installing the downlight into the ceiling, select your desired color temperature. A switch located on the side of the light allows you to choose from five options:

  • 2700K: Soft White
  • 3000K: Warm White
  • 4000K: Cool White
  • 5000K: Day Light
  • 6000K: Bright White

5.2 Installation Steps

This downlight is designed for easy retrofit installation into existing 4-inch recessed housing cans.

  1. Turn Off Power: Before starting, ensure the power to the existing recessed can is turned off at the circuit breaker.
  2. Remove Existing Trim/Bulb: Carefully remove any existing trim and bulb from the recessed housing.
  3. Connect Adapter: Screw the provided E26 adapter into the existing socket of the recessed can. If your can uses a TP24 connector, use the provided TP24 connector.
  4. Insert Downlight: Gently push the ECOELER LED downlight into the 4-inch recessed can. The spring clips on the sides of the downlight will secure it firmly against the ceiling.
  5. Restore Power: Once the downlight is securely in place, restore power at the circuit breaker.

6. Operating Your Downlight

6.1 Color Temperature Selection

As detailed in the installation section, the color temperature is selected via a switch on the side of the downlight. Once installed, the light will operate at the chosen CCT (2700K, 3000K, 4000K, 5000K, or 6000K).

6.2 Dimming Function

The ECOELER 4-Inch LED Recessed Downlight supports smooth dimming from 5% to 100%. It is compatible with most standard LED dimmers on the market. For optimal performance, ensure your dimmer is compatible with LED lighting.

7. Care and Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Ensure power is off before cleaning. Wipe the fixture with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they may damage the finish.
  • No User-Serviceable Parts: There are no user-serviceable parts inside the fixture. Do not attempt to disassemble.
