Ensure the dustbin is properly seated and the filters are correctly installed before starting a cleaning cycle.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance of your replacement parts is essential for optimal performance and longevity.
- Side Brushes: Check for tangled hair or debris weekly. Clean as needed. Replace every 3-6 months, or sooner if visibly worn or damaged.
- HEPA Filters: Tap gently to remove dust after every few cleaning cycles. Do not wash with water. Replace every 2-3 months, or more frequently if you have pets or allergies.
- Primary Filters: Clean regularly by tapping out debris or rinsing with water (if material allows, check your vacuum's original manual). Ensure it is completely dry before reinstallation. Replace every 3-6 months.
Note: Replacement frequency may vary based on usage and environment.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues after replacing parts, consider the following:
- Reduced Suction: Check if the HEPA and primary filters are installed correctly and are not clogged. Ensure the dustbin is empty and properly sealed.
- Poor Edge Cleaning: Inspect side brushes for tangles or damage. Ensure they are securely attached and spinning freely.
- Unusual Noises: Verify all parts are installed correctly and nothing is obstructing the brushes or wheels.
