5. Operating Modes
5.1. Repeater Mode (Wireless to Wireless)
In Repeater Mode, the device expands your wireless range by receiving the signal from your main router wirelessly and then re-transmitting it, ensuring strong Wi-Fi signals in every part of your home.

5.2. AP Mode (Wireless to Wired)
In AP Mode, the extender can convert a wired internet connection into a wireless signal, or provide a wired connection to devices that do not have Wi-Fi capabilities, such as desktop computers or smart TVs, by using an Ethernet cable.

6. Compatibility
The Aimery WiFi Extender is designed for broad compatibility. It works seamlessly with any Wi-Fi enabled device, regardless of its age or model. This includes older computers, laptops, smartphones, and televisions. If a device uses a Wi-Fi signal, it can connect to this extender.
Note: The device does not support setting passwords with specific symbols (e.g., quotation marks).
7. Placement and Portability
Unlike traditional routers, the WiFi Extender does not require a phone jack connection, offering significant flexibility in placement. You can easily relocate it at any time within your home, office, or even when traveling. Its compact and foldable design makes it convenient to carry wherever you go.

8. Troubleshooting
- No Internet Connection After Setup: Ensure the extender is within range of your main router. Verify that you entered the correct Wi-Fi password for your main network during setup. Some specific symbols in passwords are not supported.
- Weak Signal Despite Extender: Try repositioning the extender to a location roughly halfway between your router and the desired coverage area. Avoid placing it near large metal objects or appliances that emit electromagnetic interference.
- Cannot Find 'Wifi Booster' Signal: Ensure the extender is properly plugged into a working power outlet. If the issue persists, try resetting the device by pressing the reset button (often combined with WPS) for a few seconds with a pin.
- Connection Drops Frequently: This could be due to interference or being too far from the main router. Adjust the extender's position. Ensure your main router's firmware is up to date.
- Password Issues: As noted, avoid using specific symbols like quotation marks in your Wi-Fi password when configuring the extender.
