The HYINUS XL Blood Pressure Cuff comes with five different connectors to ensure compatibility with a wide range of blood pressure monitors. It is crucial to select the correct connector for your specific device.
Connecting the Cuff:
- Identify the connector port on your blood pressure monitor.
- Examine the five included connectors (0.18in, 0.2in, 0.24in, 0.28in, 0.44in) and select the one that best fits your monitor's port.
- Firmly insert the chosen connector into your blood pressure monitor's port.
- Connect the cuff's air tube to the selected connector. Ensure a secure fit to prevent air leakage during measurement.
- Note: If none of the included connectors fit, you may be able to use the original connector that came with your blood pressure monitor.

3. Operating Instructions
For accurate blood pressure readings, proper cuff placement is essential. Follow these steps to correctly apply the HYINUS XL Blood Pressure Cuff:
- Step 1: Wrap the Cuff. Wrap the cuff around your upper left arm. The air tube should run down the inside of your arm, aligned with your middle finger.
- Step 2: Position Above Elbow. Ensure the cuff lies about 2 fingers' width (approximately 2-3 cm or 0.8-1.2 inches) above your elbow joint. The index mark on the cuff should align with the main arteries on the inside of your arm.
- Step 3: Check Fit. The cuff should be snug but not too tight. You should be able to fit two fingers comfortably between your arm and the cuff.
- Step 4: Prepare for Measurement. Sit calmly and quietly for at least 5 minutes before taking a measurement. Ensure your arm is resting comfortably on a flat surface, with the cuff at heart level.
- Step 5: Start Measurement. Press the start/stop button on your blood pressure monitor to begin the measurement process. Remain still and do not talk during the measurement.

4. Care and Maintenance
Proper care and maintenance will extend the life of your HYINUS XL Blood Pressure Cuff and ensure continued accuracy.
- Cleaning: Wipe the cuff surface with a soft, damp cloth. Use a mild detergent if necessary. Do not immerse the cuff in water or use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents.
- Storage: Store the cuff in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and humidity. Avoid folding the air tube tightly, which can cause kinks or damage.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the cuff and air tube for any signs of wear, cracks, or damage. If any damage is observed, replace the cuff to ensure accurate readings.
- Air Tube: Ensure the air tube is not pinched or twisted during storage or use, as this can affect inflation and deflation.
