Setup and Installation

No plumber is required for installation. Follow these steps to install your bidet sprayer:

  1. Turn off Water Supply: Locate the water supply valve for your toilet (usually on the wall behind the toilet) and turn it clockwise until the water flow stops. Flush the toilet to drain the tank.
  2. Disconnect Toilet Supply Line: Unscrew the existing water supply line from the bottom of the toilet tank. Have a small towel ready to catch any residual water.
  3. Install T-Valve: Connect the T-valve to the bottom of the toilet tank where you disconnected the supply line. Ensure the rubber washer is properly seated. Hand-tighten first, then use a wrench for a snug fit, but do not overtighten.

Option B: Wall Mount: Use the provided screws and anchors to securely attach the holder to a wall near the toilet.

  9. Restore Water Supply: Slowly turn the main water supply valve back on (counter-clockwise). Check all connections for leaks. If leaks occur, tighten the connections slightly until they stop.

Operating Instructions

Your Niagara Handheld Bidet Sprayer offers two spray options for versatile use:

  • Continuous Spray: Lift the handle on the sprayer head upwards. This will engage a continuous spray, ideal for cleaning the toilet, cloth diapers, or bathing pets. The spray will continue until the handle is pushed back down.
  • Controlled Spray: Press and hold the handle down. This allows you to control the duration and pressure of the spray. Release the handle to stop the water flow.

Important: Always ensure the T-valve is closed after each use to prevent accidental leaks or pressure buildup in the hose.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your bidet sprayer, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Clean the exterior of the sprayer and hose regularly with a soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as they can damage the chrome finish.
  • Nozzle Cleaning: If the spray becomes weak or uneven, the nozzle may be clogged. Gently unscrew the nozzle head and rinse it under running water. Use a soft brush or toothpick to clear any mineral deposits.
  • Leak Checks: Periodically check all connections for any signs of leakage. Tighten connections as needed, but do not overtighten.
  • Rust Prevention: The sprayer features a chrome finish and stainless steel bracket designed to resist rust. Regular cleaning helps maintain its appearance and prevents mineral buildup.
