Setup Instructions

1. Unpack and Clean: Carefully unpack all components. Rinse the stainless steel fountain body, water tray, and filter tray thoroughly with water. Do not use soap on the pump or filters.
2. Assemble Pump: Ensure the pump is clean. Attach the silicone tube (if detachable) to the pump outlet.
3. Place Filter: Insert the foam filter into the designated slot in the filter tray. Place one activated carbon filter into the filter tray on top of the foam filter.
4. Install Pump and Filter Tray: Place the pump into the bottom of the fountain body. Route the pump's power cord through the designated channel in the fountain base. Position the filter tray over the pump, ensuring the tube from the pump connects securely to the filter tray's inlet.
5. Add Water: Fill the fountain with clean water up to the MAX fill line, visible through the transparent water window. Do not overfill.
6. Place Top Lid: Carefully place the stainless steel water tray (top lid) onto the fountain body, ensuring it sits securely.
7. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet. The fountain will begin operating.

Operating Instructions

• Power On/Off: The fountain operates continuously when plugged in. To turn off, simply unplug the power adapter.
• Water Level Monitoring: Regularly check the water level through the transparent window on the front of the fountain. Refill water when it reaches the MIN level to ensure continuous operation and prevent pump damage.
• Water Flow Options: The fountain provides a continuous flow of water. The 2-way spout allows for a gentle bubble or flowing stream, depending on the pet's preference.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning and filter replacement are crucial for maintaining water quality and extending the life of your fountain.

Cleaning Frequency:

• Clean the fountain and pump at least once every 2 weeks. More frequent cleaning may be necessary if you have multiple pets or if the water appears dirty.
• Replace the activated carbon filter every 2-4 weeks, depending on usage and water quality.
• Replace the foam filter every 1-2 months, or when visibly dirty.

Cleaning Steps:

1. Unplug the fountain and disassemble all components (fountain body, water tray, filter tray, pump, filters).
2. Fountain Body and Water Tray: The stainless steel components are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, wash them with mild soap and water, then rinse thoroughly.
3. Pump: Disassemble the pump by removing the cover and impeller. Clean the impeller and the inside of the pump housing with a small brush (not included) to remove any debris or mineral buildup. Rinse thoroughly with water. Do not use soap on the pump.
4. Filters: Rinse the foam filter under running water. Discard the used activated carbon filter and replace it with a new one.
5. Reassemble all components as per the Setup Instructions.

The stainless steel components of the fountain are dishwasher safe for convenient cleaning.
