Setup and Installation

1. 1. Test the Lights

   Before installation, unroll the LED strip and connect it to the power adapter. Plug it in to ensure all lights function correctly. This step helps identify any defects before permanent attachment.

2. 2. Clean the TV Surface

3. 3. Apply the LED Strip

   Carefully peel off the adhesive backing from the LED strip and firmly press it onto the back of your TV. The 7.8ft strip is designed to cover all four sides of 40-50 inch TVs. Use the included cable clips to secure the strip snugly, especially around corners, to ensure a secure and tidy installation.

4. 4. Connect Power

   Connect the LED strip to the control box, and then connect the control box to the power adapter. Plug the power adapter into a suitable power outlet.

Govee Home App Control

The Govee Home App provides comprehensive control over your LED backlight strip. Download the app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and follow the in-app instructions to connect your device via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi (2.4G Wi-Fi only).
