1. Setup Guide
The PetSnowy SNOW+ automatic cat litter box comes pre-assembled for your convenience. Simply unbox the unit and place it in your desired location. Ensure it is placed on a flat, stable surface near a power outlet, avoiding soft or uneven surfaces. Leave at least 2 inches of space around the device for the safety sensor and avoid placing it against a wall. Do not place the device outdoors or in high heat or humid areas.
SNOW+ is suitable for cats older than 6 months and weighing above 3.3 lbs. For shy cats, leave the bonnet off and turn off SNOW+. You can also place the old, uncleaned litter box nearby, add used litter, sprinkle catnip in the walkway, and delay installing the fragrance box to help them adjust. It is recommended to place SNOW+ near the cat's original litter box to aid in the cat's adaptation.
Acclimation Tips for Cats
To help your cat adjust to the new litter box, consider these tips:
- Place the SNOW+ near your cat's current litter box.
- For shy cats, initially remove the top bonnet and keep the unit turned off.
- Add some used litter from their old box to the SNOW+ to make it smell familiar.
- Sprinkle catnip in the walkway to encourage exploration.
- Delay installing the fragrance box until your cat is comfortable.

- Unit not cleaning: Ensure the top bonnet is securely in place and the unit is plugged in. Check for any obstructions in the globe or waste drawer. Clean the safety sensors regularly.
- Odor persists: Verify the TiO₂ Photocatalyst system is active and the Robertet Fragrance Box is installed correctly and not depleted. Ensure the waste drawer is sealed properly.
- Excessive litter tracking: Clean the Litter-Control Walkway mat frequently. Ensure the litter level is not overfilled.
- Cat not using the box: Refer to the acclimation tips in the Setup Guide. Ensure the box is placed in a quiet, accessible location.
- Weight sensor issues: If the unit incorrectly indicates a full waste drawer or improper litter level, clean the infrared sensors located underneath the drum in the waste compartment. Press the reset button after adding new litter.
