Product Overview

The Retekess TC103 is a dual wireless handheld microphone system designed for various applications including meetings, parties, church events, DJ performances, weddings, and home KTV setups. It features Bluetooth 5.0 and 2.4GHz technology for low latency and broad coverage, along with advanced functions like auto-scan and automatic tuning.

Microphone Components:

  • Battery Compartment: Located at the bottom of the microphone for AA batteries.
  • Frequency Window: Displays the current operating frequency.
  • Metal Mesh: Protective grille for the microphone capsule.
  • Pickup Hole: Area where sound is primarily captured.
  • Power Switch: Controls the microphone's power.

Setup

  1. Connect the Receiver:

    Connect the power adapter to the receiver and plug it into a power outlet. Attach the antennas to the receiver's designated ports.

  2. Install Microphone Batteries:

    Unscrew the bottom part of each microphone to access the battery compartment. Insert two AA batteries into each microphone, ensuring correct polarity. Replace the cover securely.

  3. Power On:

    Press the power button on the receiver and each microphone to turn them on. The display screens should illuminate.

  4. Automatic Pairing:

    The TC103 system features automatic pairing. Turn on the microphone and point its infrared port (IR) directly at the receiver's IR PORT. The system will automatically scan and pair the microphone to an available channel.

  5. Automatic Frequency Search and Tracking:

    The system can accurately scan the surrounding environment to identify the frequency with the least interference. It also has an ACT function (lock function) to automatically search for the right frequency and lock it, preventing accidental changes.

Operating Instructions

Volume Control:

The receiver offers independent volume and channel adjustment buttons for each microphone (CH-A and CH-B). Use the "VOL+" and "VOL-" buttons to adjust the output volume of each microphone.

Bluetooth Connectivity:

The Retekess TC103 supports Bluetooth 5.0 for seamless connection to your mobile devices. This allows you to stream music or audio directly to the receiver.

Channel Lock Function:

To prevent accidental frequency changes, the receiver has a channel lock function. Long press the "Up" and "Down" keys simultaneously for the respective channel to lock or unlock it. The display will indicate the lock status.

Automatic Mute:

When the handheld microphone is placed down, it automatically enters a sleep mode and mutes, conserving battery and preventing unwanted noise.

Real-time Battery Display:

The microphone and receiver displays show the real-time battery power, reminding you to charge or replace batteries when needed.

Noise Filtering:

The handheld microphone is designed to pick up sound sources directly in front of it, effectively filtering out environmental noise for clearer audio.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning:

    Wipe the receiver and microphones with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. For the microphone grille, a soft brush can be used to remove debris.

  • Battery Care:

    Remove batteries from the microphones if they will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage. Use high-quality AA batteries for optimal performance.

  • Storage:

    Store the system in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity. Keep it in its original packaging or a protective case when not in use.
