6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Preparing Your Pet for Grooming
For best results and to prevent blade clogging, ensure your pet's coat is clean, dry, and free of tangles before grooming. Bathe your pet, dry them thoroughly, and comb out any knots with a suitable pet comb. Trim severely matted areas with scissors if necessary before using the clippers.
6.2 Powering On and Adjusting Speed
After deactivating the child lock, press the power button to turn on the clippers. Use the speed adjustment buttons (+/-) to select one of the 5 available speeds (indicated on the LCD). Start with a lower speed for sensitive areas or less dense hair, and increase as needed for thicker coats.
6.3 Adjusting Cutting Length
In addition to guide combs, the clippers feature 4 precise adjustable trimming blades (0.5mm, 1.0mm, 1.5mm, 2.0mm) directly on the clipper head. Use the adjustment lever to select the desired length for fine-tuning or areas requiring very short cuts.

Achieve an even cut by selecting the appropriate guide comb length.

7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning the Blades
Regular cleaning is crucial for optimal performance and longevity of your clippers. The ceramic alloy blade is detachable and washable. To remove the blade, hold the knife with your thumb and push down. Once detached, use the included cleaning brush to remove any trapped hair. You can then rinse the blade under running water. Ensure the blade is completely dry before reattaching.

The detachable blade can be easily removed for cleaning.
7.2 Oiling the Blades
After cleaning and drying the blades, apply a few drops of the provided lubricating oil to the teeth of the blade. This helps maintain cutting efficiency and prevents rust. Run the clippers for a few seconds to distribute the oil evenly.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your AIBORS Dog Clippers, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Clipper not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Check if the child lock is activated (deactivate by holding the power button for 3 seconds).
- Poor cutting performance / pulling hair: The blades may be dull or clogged with hair. Clean and oil the blades as described in the Maintenance section. Ensure your pet's hair is clean and free of tangles.
- Unusual noise or vibration: This could indicate a need for blade cleaning and oiling. If the issue persists, discontinue use and contact customer support.
- Battery not charging: Ensure the charging adapter is properly connected to both the clipper and the power outlet. Try a different outlet.
