2. Safety Instructions

• Read all instructions before using the appliance.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• To protect against fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, do not immerse cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.

4. Setup

1. Unfolding the Kettle: Gently pull the top section of the kettle upwards until it fully extends and locks into place. Ensure the handle is also extended and securely positioned.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, fill the kettle with water to the MAX line, boil, and then discard the water. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues or initial silicone odor.
3. Voltage Selection: The kettle supports dual voltage (110V-120V / 220V-240V). Locate the voltage selector switch on the bottom of the kettle and ensure it is set to the correct voltage for your region before plugging it in.
4. Connect Power Cord: Attach the detachable power cord to the kettle's base and then plug it into a suitable electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

1. Fill with Water: Open the lid and fill the kettle with water. Do not fill below the MIN line or above the MAX line (0.6 Liters capacity).
2. Secure the Lid: Close the lid firmly before operating.
3. Power On: Plug the kettle into a power outlet. Press the power button (usually indicated by a red light) to start the boiling process.
4. Boiling Process: The kettle will begin heating the water. The indicator light will illuminate. Water typically boils within 6 minutes.
5. Auto Shutoff: The kettle will automatically turn off once the water reaches boiling point. The indicator light will extinguish.
6. Pouring: Carefully pour the hot water using the ergonomic handle. Be cautious of steam.
7. Power Off: After use, unplug the kettle from the power outlet.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

• Cleaning: Always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. The interior can be hand washed with mild soap and water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers.
• Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up, especially in hard water areas. This can affect performance. To descale:
1. Fill the kettle with 0.5L of water and 0.15L of white vinegar.
2. Boil the mixture and let it sit for 15 minutes.
3. Discard the solution and rinse the kettle thoroughly with fresh water 4-5 times.
4. Alternatively, use 0.5L of water and 25g citric acid, boil, and let sit for 15 minutes, then rinse.
• Storage: Ensure the kettle is completely dry before collapsing and storing it in its drawstring bag.

7. Troubleshooting

• Kettle not heating: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both the kettle and the wall outlet. Check if the power button is pressed and the indicator light is on. Verify the voltage selector switch is set correctly.
• Water has a strange taste/smell: This can sometimes occur with new silicone products. Perform the initial cleaning steps (boiling and discarding water) multiple times. Descaling may also help if it's a mineral buildup issue.
• Kettle does not auto-shutoff: Ensure the lid is properly closed. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
• Kettle leaks: Check for any visible damage to the silicone body or lid. Ensure the kettle is not overfilled.
