Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the vacuum head from its packaging.
2. Inspect: Check the vacuum head for any signs of damage.
3. Attach to Wand: Align the circular connector of the vacuum head with the end of your Miele vacuum's wand. Push firmly until it clicks securely into place. Ensure the connection is snug to maintain proper suction.

Operating Instructions

The GHAMADE Replacement Vacuum Head features a convenient foot switch to adjust the bristles for optimal cleaning on different floor types.

1. For Smooth Floors (Wood, Tile, Bare Floors): Press the foot switch to extend the bristles. This setting helps prevent scratching and ensures thorough cleaning on hard surfaces.
2. For Low-Pile Carpets and Rugs: Press the foot switch to retract the bristles. This allows the vacuum head to glide smoothly over carpeted surfaces, maximizing suction and cleaning efficiency.

Maintenance

• Clean Bristles: Periodically check the bristles for tangled hair, threads, or debris. Use scissors or a brush to carefully remove any obstructions.
• Inspect Soleplate: Ensure the stainless steel soleplate is free from scratches or damage that could affect performance.
• Wheel Mechanism: The vacuum head features a removable wheel mechanism for cleaning. If the wheel becomes clogged or difficult to roll, gently remove the pin on the side to detach the wheel assembly. Clean any accumulated debris and reattach securely.

Troubleshooting

• Reduced Suction:
  • Check for blockages in the vacuum head or hose.
  • Ensure the bristles are in the correct position for the surface being cleaned (extended for hard floors, retracted for carpets).
  • Verify that the vacuum bag or dustbin is not full and the filters are clean.
• Vacuum Head Not Gliding Smoothly:
  • Clean any debris from the bristles and wheels.
  • Ensure the foot switch is correctly engaged for the floor type.
  • If the wheel mechanism detaches, ensure it is re-inserted correctly and the locking pin is fully engaged.
• Attachment Issues:
  • Confirm your Miele vacuum hose has a circular connection.
  • Ensure the vacuum head is pushed firmly onto the wand until it clicks into place.
