User Manual: Replacement Remote Control

Introduction

Setup

Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control (refer to Figure 3 and Figure 4).
2. Slide the battery compartment cover downwards or in the direction indicated by an arrow to open it.
3. Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
4. Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks securely.

Note: Batteries are not included with the remote control. Always use new batteries of the specified type.

Initial Use

This remote control operates using Infrared (IR) technology. No pairing or complex setup is typically required. Once batteries are installed, point the remote directly at your Sakobs soundbar and begin operation.

Operating Instructions

The remote control provides direct access to various functions of your compatible Sakobs soundbar. Familiarize yourself with the button layout as shown in the Product Overview section.

Common Button Functions:

• Power Button (Orange): Turns the soundbar On or Off.
• Mute: Mutes or unmutes the soundbar's audio output.

• Sound Mode Buttons (movie, music, news): Switches between preset audio equalization modes optimized for different content types.
• Subwoofer Controls (Sub+ / Sub-): Adjusts the subwoofer level for enhanced bass.

Maintenance

• Storage: Store the remote in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the remote's performance degrades or it stops responding. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type. Remove batteries if the remote will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.

Troubleshooting

• Remote Not Responding:
  • Check the batteries. Ensure they are inserted correctly with the correct polarity (+/-).
