4. Setup Guide
4.1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
- Open the cover by sliding or lifting it according to the markings.
- Insert the provided 7.7V CTA Q7 lithium battery into the compartment, ensuring the contacts align correctly.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2. Thermal Paper Roll Installation
- Locate the printer cover at the top of the device.
- Press the release button or latch to open the printer cover.
- Insert the thermal paper roll into the compartment, ensuring the paper feeds from the bottom and the leading edge extends slightly out of the printer slot.
- Close the printer cover firmly until it clicks into place, leaving a small amount of paper protruding.
4.3. Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the device:
- Connect the provided USB data cable to the USB port/charging port on the device.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power adapter (AC100-240V input, 5.0 VDC 2.0 A output) or a powered USB port.
- The charging indicator will illuminate. Allow the device to charge until the indicator shows a full charge.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power key (refer to Figure 4.2) until the screen illuminates and the device starts up.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power key until the power options menu appears on the screen. Select "Power Off" and confirm.
5.2. Basic Navigation
The device operates on Android 12 GO. Navigate using the 5.5-inch capacitive touch screen. Standard Android gestures (tap, swipe, pinch-to-zoom) apply.
5.3. Barcode Scanning (1D/2D)
The integrated 5MP camera and hardware scanning head support fast and accurate scanning of 1D and 2D barcodes.
- Open the scanning application on the device.
- Point the rear camera towards the barcode, ensuring it is within the scanning area.
- The device will automatically focus and capture the barcode data.

5.4. NFC Functionality
The device supports NFC (Near Field Communication) for various applications, including ID card recognition and membership card management.
- Ensure NFC is enabled in the device settings.
- Hold the NFC-enabled card or device near the NFC reader area (typically indicated by an NFC symbol) on the terminal.
- The device will process the NFC data.

5.5. Printing Receipts and Labels
The integrated high-speed thermal printer supports both receipt and label printing on 58mm paper.
- Ensure a thermal paper roll is correctly installed (refer to Section 4.2).
- From your POS application, select the print option for the desired receipt or label.
- The device will automatically print the content.

6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning the Device
- Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the exterior of the device.
- For the screen, use a screen-specific cleaning solution and a microfiber cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or spray liquids directly onto the device.
- Regularly clean the thermal print head with a specialized cleaning pen or isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab to ensure clear prints.
6.2. Battery Care
- Avoid exposing the battery to extreme temperatures (hot or cold).
- Do not disassemble, puncture, or short-circuit the battery.
- If the device will not be used for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50% and store it in a cool, dry place. Recharge every 3-6 months to prevent deep discharge.
- Replace the battery if its performance significantly degrades (e.g., shorter battery life).
6.3. Storage
Store the device in a cool, dry environment, away from direct sunlight, dust, and moisture. When not in use, it is recommended to store the device in its original packaging or a protective case.
7. Troubleshooting
