Product Overview

The SKMEI-2020 is a versatile wristwatch featuring both digital and analog time displays, designed for various daily activities. It includes multiple functions such as three time zones, a stopwatch, alarm, and calendar, all housed in a durable, 30M water-resistant case.

Watch Components

1. LIGHT Button (Top Left): Activates the backlight for the digital display.
2. MODE Button (Bottom Left): Cycles through different modes (Time 2, Stopwatch, Alarm, Time 1 setting).
3. START/STOP Button (Top Right): Used to start and stop the stopwatch, and adjust settings.
4. TIME Knob (Middle Right): Used to set the analog time. Pull out to adjust, push in to lock.
5. RESET Button (Bottom Right): Resets the stopwatch, and used to confirm settings.

Setup

Setting Analog Time

1. Pull out the TIME Knob (Middle Right button).
2. Rotate the knob to adjust the analog hour and minute hands to the desired time.
3. Push the TIME Knob back in to lock the analog time.

Setting Digital Time and Date (Time 1)

1. From the normal time display, press the MODE Button (Bottom Left) repeatedly until the digital display shows the time setting screen (usually flashing seconds).
2. Press the RESET Button (Bottom Right) to cycle through the setting items: seconds, hour, minute, month, date, day of week, 12/24H format.
3. Use the START/STOP Button (Top Right) to increase the flashing value. Hold to rapidly advance.
4. Once all settings are adjusted, press the MODE Button to exit the setting mode and return to the normal time display.

Setting Time Zone 2 (Time 2)

1. From the normal time display, press the MODE Button until you reach the Time 2 display.
2. Hold the RESET Button (Bottom Right) until the time digits begin to flash.
3. Press the RESET Button to select the hour or minute to adjust.
4. Use the START/STOP Button (Top Right) to change the flashing value.
5. Press the MODE Button to save and exit Time 2 setting mode.

Operating Instructions

Display Backlight

Press the LIGHT Button (Top Left) to illuminate the digital display for a few seconds. This is useful in low-light conditions.

Using the Stopwatch

1. Press the MODE Button (Bottom Left) until the stopwatch mode is displayed (usually indicated by 'ST' or 'STOPW').
2. Press the START/STOP Button (Top Right) to start the stopwatch.
3. Press the START/STOP Button again to pause the stopwatch.
4. To resume, press the START/STOP Button.
5. To reset the stopwatch to zero, ensure it is paused, then press the RESET Button (Bottom Right).

Setting and Using the Alarm

1. Press the MODE Button (Bottom Left) until the alarm mode is displayed (usually indicated by 'AL' or 'ALARM').
2. Hold the RESET Button (Bottom Right) until the alarm hour digits begin to flash.
3. Press the RESET Button to select between hour and minute settings.
4. Use the START/STOP Button (Top Right) to adjust the flashing value.
5. Press the MODE Button to save the alarm time.
6. To activate/deactivate the alarm, press the START/STOP Button while in alarm mode (without holding RESET). An alarm icon will appear/disappear.
7. When the alarm sounds, press any button to stop it.

12/24 Hour Format

During the digital time setting process (Time 1), you can toggle between 12-hour (with AM/PM indicator) and 24-hour formats using the START/STOP Button when the 12/24H setting is flashing.

Maintenance

Water Resistance (30M)

This watch is rated for 30 meters (3 ATM) water resistance. This means it is suitable for daily use, splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water. It is not suitable for swimming, diving, or showering with hot water, as steam and temperature changes can compromise the seals.

Cleaning

Wipe the watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

Battery Replacement

When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, the battery may need replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.

Troubleshooting

• Digital Display is Blank: The battery may be depleted. Replace the battery.
• Analog Hands Not Moving: Check if the TIME Knob (Middle Right) is pushed in completely. If it is, the battery for the analog movement might be depleted, or there could be a mechanical issue.
• Time is Incorrect: Re-set both the analog and digital times following the instructions in the Setup section. Ensure the 12/24H format is set correctly.
• Water Inside the Watch: Immediately take the watch to a professional for inspection and repair to prevent further damage. Avoid pressing buttons while the watch is wet.
• Buttons Not Responding: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, though this model does not feature a specific lock). If issues persist, a battery replacement or professional inspection may be needed.
