Operating the Monitor

1. On-Screen Display (OSD) Navigation

The monitor features control buttons, typically located on the back or bottom right, to access and navigate the OSD menu. Use these buttons to adjust various display settings.

2. Adjusting Display Settings

  • Refresh Rate: For optimal gaming performance, ensure your computer's display settings are configured to 240Hz. This can usually be done through your operating system's display settings or your graphics card's control panel (e.g., NVIDIA Control Panel or AMD Radeon Software).
  • Response Time: The monitor features a 1ms MPRT response time. This setting can often be adjusted within the OSD menu to fine-tune motion blur reduction.
  • Brightness and Contrast: Adjust these settings in the OSD menu to suit your viewing environment and preferences. The IPS panel provides rich colors and wide viewing angles.
  • Adaptive Sync (FreeSync): This monitor supports Adaptive Sync technology to eliminate screen tearing and stuttering. Ensure it is enabled in the OSD menu and your graphics card settings for compatible GPUs.
  • Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB): This feature can further reduce motion blur in fast-paced scenes. Enable or disable it via the OSD menu as desired.

2. Cleaning the Casing

Wipe the monitor casing with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use any liquid cleaners on the casing.

3. Storage

When storing the monitor for an extended period, disconnect it from power and store it in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging to protect it from dust and physical damage.
