5. Setup
5.1 Assembly
- Place the main unit on a flat, stable surface.
- Insert the stainless steel bowl into the designated slot at the base of the dispenser.
- Open the top lid of the food storage container. Ensure the desiccant bag is properly placed in its compartment to maintain food freshness.
- Fill the food storage container with dry pet food. Do not overfill.
- Securely close the top lid by rotating it until it locks into place.
5.2 Power Supply
The dispenser supports dual power options:
- AC Power: Connect the provided power adapter to the dispenser's power port and plug it into a wall outlet.
- Battery Backup: For power outages or portability, insert 3 D-cell batteries (not included) into the battery compartment at the bottom of the unit. The device will automatically switch to battery power if AC power is lost.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Control Panel Overview

The control panel features an LCD screen and several buttons for programming:
- SET Button: Enters programming mode and confirms settings.
- UP/DOWN Buttons: Adjust values (time, meal number, portions).
- REC Button: Records or plays back voice message.
- FEED Button: Manually dispenses one portion of food.
6.2 Setting the Current Time
- Press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds until the hour digit flashes.
- Use the UP/DOWN buttons to adjust the hour. Press SET to confirm.
- The minute digit will flash. Use UP/DOWN to adjust minutes. Press SET to confirm.
6.3 Programming Meal Times and Portions
You can program up to 4 meals per day.
- After setting the time, press SET again. The 'Meal 1' icon will appear, and the hour digit for Meal 1 will flash.
- Use UP/DOWN to set the desired hour for Meal 1. Press SET to confirm.
- Set the minutes for Meal 1 using UP/DOWN. Press SET to confirm.
- The portion number for Meal 1 will flash. Use UP/DOWN to select the number of portions (1-20). Press SET to confirm.
- Repeat steps 1-4 for Meal 2, Meal 3, and Meal 4 if desired. If you do not wish to set a meal, simply press SET to skip to the next meal setting or exit programming mode.
6.4 Recording a Voice Message
A 10-second voice message can be recorded to play during meal times.
- Press and hold the REC button. The recording indicator will appear on the LCD.
- Speak clearly into the microphone for up to 10 seconds.
- Release the REC button to stop recording.
- Press the REC button once to play back your recorded message.
6.5 Manual Feeding
To dispense a single portion of food instantly, press the FEED button once. Each press will dispense one portion.
7. Maintenance and Cleaning

- Unplug the device: Always disconnect the power adapter and remove batteries before cleaning.
