Introduction
This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the safe and efficient operation, installation, and maintenance of your GRYVOZE 1.5 Inch NPT Digital Turbine Flow Meter. This precision instrument is designed for accurate measurement of various liquids, including water, diesel, gas oil, gasoline, kerosene, methanol, and E15.
Key features include precise readings with a high accuracy of ±1%, a clear LCD display for real-time flow rates and accumulated totals, versatile unit options (Gallons, QTS, PTS, L, m³), and a durable aluminum alloy and stainless steel construction.
Safety Information
Important: This flow meter has an IPX4 waterproof rating, meaning it is resistant to splashing water. It is NOT designed for submersion in water, oil, or other liquids. To ensure longevity of the built-in electronic board, avoid direct splashing on the dial. Always handle the device with care to prevent damage.
Product Overview
The GRYVOZE Digital Turbine Flow Meter features a robust design with an intuitive LCD display and control buttons for easy operation.

Setup and Installation
1. Physical Installation
The flow meter is equipped with NPT threads for easy integration into your existing piping system. Ensure proper sealing to prevent leaks.
- Identify the correct flow direction indicated by the arrow on the meter's body. The meter must be installed to allow liquid to flow in this direction.
- Connect the meter securely to your pipes using appropriate tools and sealing materials.

Figure 3: Always ensure the flow direction arrow on the meter aligns with the liquid flow in your system.
2. Battery Installation
The flow meter is powered by 2 x AAA LR03 batteries. The display screen will turn off after 2 minutes of inactivity to conserve energy, and automatically reactivates with liquid flow or by pressing any key. Standby time is over 1 year.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the display unit.
- Carefully open the compartment and insert 2 AAA LR03 batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment securely.

Operation
1. Display Modes
The LCD display shows two main readings:
- Instantaneous Flow: Shows the current flow rate.
- Total Cumulative Flow: Shows the total volume of liquid that has passed through the meter since the last reset. The single count range is 0-99999, and the total cumulative count range is 0-29999999.
Press the DISPLAY key to switch between the instantaneous flow interface and the total cumulative flow interface.
2. Unit Selection
The meter supports multiple measurement units: Gallons (GAL), Quarts (QTS), Pints (PTS), Liters (L), and Cubic Meters (m³).
- To enter the metering unit setting, simultaneously press and hold the CALIBRATE (C) and DISPLAY (D) keys for more than 5 seconds.
- Once in the setting mode, press the DISPLAY (D) key to cycle through the available units.
- Press the CALIBRATE (C) key for 3 seconds to save your selection and exit the unit setting.

3. Calibration
The flow meter can be calibrated for optimal accuracy. The initial coefficient for calibration varies by version: older versions use 1850, while newer versions use 1000. The version received is random upon delivery.
- Refer to the specific calibration procedure in the detailed product documentation or contact support if precise calibration is required.
Maintenance
1. Battery Replacement
When the display dims or stops functioning, it's time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the "Setup and Installation" section.
2. Cleaning
Wipe the exterior of the flow meter with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water. Ensure the display area remains clean for clear readings.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Inaccurate Readings | Incorrect calibration coefficient; air bubbles in liquid; flow rate outside specified range. | Verify and adjust calibration coefficient. Ensure no air is trapped in the system. Check if flow rate is within 10.5-74 GPM (40-280 LPM). |
| Display Not Working | Dead batteries; water ingress to electronic board. | Replace batteries. If water ingress is suspected, discontinue use and contact support. Avoid splashing water on the dial. |
| Meter Counts Without Flow | Electromagnetic interference from nearby pumps/motors. | This GRYVOZE flow meter is equipped with an anti-electromagnetic interference function. If you experience this issue, ensure proper grounding of nearby equipment. If the problem persists, contact support. |
| Liquid Leakage | Improper installation; damaged seals/threads. | Re-check all connections and ensure they are tightened correctly with appropriate sealing tape. Inspect seals for damage and replace if necessary. |
