Setup and Installation
Installation of the Newentor Shower Head and Hose is designed to be straightforward and can be performed without specialized tools. Ensure your water supply is turned off before beginning installation.
- Prepare the Connection: Ensure the existing shower arm or mixer outlet is clean and free of debris.
- Apply Teflon Tape: Wrap Teflon tape (provided) clockwise around the threads of your shower arm or mixer outlet 3-5 times. This helps create a watertight seal.
- Attach the Shower Hose: Connect one end of the shower hose to the shower arm or mixer outlet. Hand-tighten first, then use a wrench to tighten an additional quarter to half turn. Do not overtighten. Ensure a sealing washer is inside the hose connector.
- Attach the Shower Head: Connect the Newentor Shower Head to the other end of the shower hose. Hand-tighten first, then use a wrench to tighten an additional quarter to half turn. Ensure a sealing washer is inside the shower head connector.
- Check for Leaks: Turn on the water supply slowly and check all connections for leaks. If leaks occur, tighten the connections slightly or reapply Teflon tape.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your Newentor Shower Head and Hose.
- Cleaning Nozzles: The shower head features high elastic liquid silicone nozzles designed to prevent blockages. If mineral deposits accumulate, gently rub the nozzles with your fingers or a soft brush to dislodge them.
- Cleaning the Shower Head: Use a soft cloth and mild soap or a non-abrasive bathroom cleaner to clean the exterior of the shower head. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers, which can damage the finish.
- Filter Bead Replacement: The mineral filter beads have a limited lifespan. While the manual does not specify a replacement interval, it is recommended to replace them every 3-6 months, or when you notice a decrease in filtration effectiveness or water quality. Replacement beads can be purchased separately.
- Hose Care: Periodically check the shower hose for any signs of wear, kinks, or damage. Clean the hose with a soft cloth and mild soap.
