Setup and Installation

Installation of the Newentor Shower Head and Hose is designed to be straightforward and can be performed without specialized tools. Ensure your water supply is turned off before beginning installation.

  1. Prepare the Connection: Ensure the existing shower arm or mixer outlet is clean and free of debris.
  2. Apply Teflon Tape: Wrap Teflon tape (provided) clockwise around the threads of your shower arm or mixer outlet 3-5 times. This helps create a watertight seal.
  3. Attach the Shower Hose: Connect one end of the shower hose to the shower arm or mixer outlet. Hand-tighten first, then use a wrench to tighten an additional quarter to half turn. Do not overtighten. Ensure a sealing washer is inside the hose connector.
  4. Attach the Shower Head: Connect the Newentor Shower Head to the other end of the shower hose. Hand-tighten first, then use a wrench to tighten an additional quarter to half turn. Ensure a sealing washer is inside the shower head connector.
  5. Check for Leaks: Turn on the water supply slowly and check all connections for leaks. If leaks occur, tighten the connections slightly or reapply Teflon tape.
