3. Setup Guide

3.1. Handheld Mode Setup

To use the Split Pad Compact in handheld mode, simply slide the left and right Split Pad Compact controllers onto the sides of your Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch OLED Model console until they click into place. Ensure they are securely attached before use.

3.2. TV Mode Setup (with Attachment)

For TV mode, attach both the left and right Split Pad Compact controllers to the central attachment unit. Once assembled, connect the USB-A cable from the attachment unit to an available USB port on your Nintendo Switch Dock. This allows you to use the Split Pad Compact as a high-quality wired controller while playing on your TV.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. General Controls

The Split Pad Compact features full-size analog sticks, a precision D-pad, and large shoulder buttons for comfortable and accurate control. All standard Nintendo Switch button functions (A, B, X, Y, L, R, ZL, ZR, +, -, Home, Capture) are present and operate as expected.

4.2. Programmable Rear Triggers

The Split Pad Compact includes assignable rear triggers. To program a rear trigger:

1. Press the ASSIGN button located on the bottom of the respective controller (left or right). The ASSIGN LED will illuminate.
2. Press the button you wish to assign (e.g., A, B, X, Y, L, R, ZL, ZR, D-pad directions).
3. Press the rear trigger button you want to assign the function to. The ASSIGN LED will turn off, indicating successful assignment.

4.3. Turbo Functionality

The Turbo function allows for rapid, continuous input of a button press. To activate Turbo:

1. Press and hold the TURBO button located on the bottom of the respective controller.
2. While holding TURBO, press the button you wish to apply the Turbo function to. The Turbo LED will illuminate.
3. To deactivate, repeat the process. The Turbo LED will turn off.

4.4. Audio Controls (with Attachment)

When using the Split Pad Compact with the attachment, you can connect a wired headset to the 3.5mm audio jack located on the bottom of the central attachment unit. The attachment also features dedicated buttons for volume control and muting your microphone.

• Controller Not Responding (Handheld Mode): Ensure both Split Pad Compact controllers are fully slid onto the Nintendo Switch console until they click securely into place.
• Controller Not Responding (TV Mode): Verify that the USB-A cable from the attachment is securely connected to a working USB port on your Nintendo Switch Dock. The attachment requires a wired connection to the dock for TV mode play.
