2. Initial Setup

2.1 Winding the Watch

Your Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 is an automatic mechanical watch. It is powered by the motion of your wrist. If the watch has stopped or its power reserve is low, it needs to be manually wound before wearing.

1. Unscrew the crown (if applicable) and pull it out to position 1.
2. Rotate the crown clockwise approximately 20-30 times. This will build up sufficient power reserve to start the movement.

2. Setting the Time: Pull the crown out to position 3. The seconds hand will stop. Rotate the crown to set the hour and minute hands. To ensure accuracy, synchronize the time with a reliable time source.
3. Once the time and date are set, push the crown back into position 1 and screw it down firmly (if applicable) to maintain water resistance.

2.3 Bracelet Adjustment

4.1 Water Resistance
