This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient use of your GENIANI Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier, Model G-HRN-4LW. Important Safety Instructions

• Always place the humidifier on a firm, flat, waterproof surface at least 12 inches (30 cm) away from bedside, furniture, and appliances. Ensure it is out of reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave the humidifier unattended in a closed room since air could become saturated and leave condensation on furniture. Leave the room door partly open.
• Before using, extend the cord and inspect for any signs of damage. Do not use if the cord has been damaged.
• Do not add any medications, oils, or fragrances into the mist outlet, water reservoir, or water tank. Only add essential oils to the designated fragrance box.
• Mist should be directed away from walls, furniture, bedding, and appliances.
• Never add water directly into the mist outlet.
• If the humidifier is damaged or not functioning properly, stop using it and contact Customer Support.

Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and accessories from the box.
2. Placement: Place the humidifier on a flat, stable, and waterproof surface. Ensure it is at least 12 inches (30 cm) away from walls and furniture.
3. Remove Top Cover: Gently lift the top cover to access the water tank.
4. Fill Water Tank: Pour clean, cool tap water directly into the water tank. Do not exceed the maximum fill line. For best results and to prevent mineral buildup, use distilled or demineralized water.

5. Replace Top Cover: Securely place the top cover back onto the humidifier.
6. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the humidifier's power port and then into a standard electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

The humidifier features a single control button for all functions.

• Power On/Off: Press and hold the control button for 3 seconds to turn the humidifier ON or OFF.
• Mist Level Adjustment:
  • 1st Press: Smart Mode (automatically adjusts mist based on humidity levels).
  • 2nd Press: Low Mist.
  • 3rd Press: Medium Mist.
  • 4th Press: High Mist.

• Night Light: The humidifier has an integrated night light. To turn the night light ON/OFF, press the control button briefly (less than 1 second) while the humidifier is operating.
• Aromatherapy Function:
  1. Locate the aromatherapy tray at the back of the humidifier.
  2. Pull out the tray.
  3. Add 5-10 drops of your preferred essential oil onto the fragrance sponge.
  4. Slide the tray back into place.

• Auto Shut-off: The humidifier will automatically turn off when the water tank is empty for safety.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning is crucial for optimal performance and hygiene.

• Daily Cleaning: Empty and rinse the water tank daily. Wipe down the base with a clean cloth.
• Weekly Cleaning:
  1. Unplug the humidifier and remove the top cover.
  2. Remove the water tank from the base.
  3. Fill the water tank with 1 cup of white vinegar and let it soak for 30 minutes to loosen mineral buildup.
  4. Use a soft brush or cloth to clean the inside of the tank and the ultrasonic disc.
  5. Rinse thoroughly with clean water until the vinegar smell is gone.
  6. Wipe the base clean with a damp cloth.

• Aromatherapy Tray: Clean the aromatherapy sponge regularly by rinsing it with water and allowing it to air dry. Replace the sponge if it becomes discolored or hardened.
• Storage: When not in use for an extended period, clean and dry all parts thoroughly before storing in a cool, dry place.
