This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your DENFOON Motorized Zebra Blinds. These solar-powered, dual-layer automatic shades offer convenient remote control, adjustable light, and enhanced privacy for your windows. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper function and longevity of your product.

Setup and Installation

The DENFOON Motorized Zebra Blinds are designed for easy installation, suitable for both residential and business environments.

1. Unpacking and Components

Carefully unpack all components. Ensure the following items are present:

  • Motorized Zebra Blind unit
  • Remote Control
  • Solar Panel (included for charging)
  • Mounting Hardware
  • Valance
  • User Manual (this document)

2. Choosing Mount Type (Inside Mount / Outside Mount)

Determine whether to install the blinds inside the window frame (Inside Mount) or outside the window frame (Outside Mount). Refer to the diagram below for measurement guidelines.

Image: Measurement guidelines for Inside Mount and Outside Mount installations. For Inside Mount, shade width should be ≤ window width - 1/4", shade height > window height, and window depth ≥ 2 1/2". For Outside Mount, shade width ≥ window width + 4", and shade height > window height.

3. Mounting the Blinds

Follow the instructions provided with the mounting hardware to securely attach the blind unit to your window frame or wall. The valance should be installed to ensure a seamless appearance and prevent exposure of the steel tube track.

4. Solar Panel Installation and Charging

The blinds are solar-powered and include a solar panel for automatic charging during the day. Attach the solar panel to your window in a location that receives ample sunlight.

If your window is too high or without an outlet, the solar panel is the recommended charging method. The red light on the blind unit flashes to indicate the need for charging.

Operating Instructions

Your DENFOON Motorized Zebra Blinds offer convenient operation via remote control and can be integrated with smart home systems for advanced control.
