1. Introduction

3. Setup

The Feandrea Collapsible Soft Dog Crate is designed for quick and tool-free assembly.

Assembly Steps:

  1. Unfold the crate from its collapsed state.
  2. Lift the sides and top into position.
  3. Insert the support tubes into their designated sleeves and secure them to form the rigid frame.
  4. Ensure all frame components are properly locked into place.
  5. Place the soft fleece pad inside the crate.

Folding for Storage:

To fold the crate for storage or transport, reverse the assembly steps:

  1. Remove the fleece pad.
  2. Detach the support tubes.
  3. Push the sides down to collapse the crate.
  4. Fold the collapsed crate flat and secure it with the integrated buckles.

4. Operating Instructions

Using the Crate:

5. Maintenance

Cleaning the Crate:

  • Fabric: The Oxford fabric is water-resistant. For spills or dirt, wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Allow to air dry completely before folding or storing.
  • Fleece Pad: The soft fleece pad is removable for cleaning. The inner padding is not washable. Hand wash the fleece cover with mild soap and water, or machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water. Air dry only; do not tumble dry.
  • Frame: Wipe the steel frame with a damp cloth as needed.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Feandrea Soft Dog Crate, please refer to the following common solutions:

  • Crate not standing upright: Ensure all support tubes are fully inserted and locked into their sleeves. Check that the frame is properly extended.
  • Zippers sticking: Apply a small amount of zipper lubricant or a graphite pencil to the zipper teeth to improve smoothness. Avoid forcing the zipper.
  • Pet not entering the crate: Introduce your pet to the crate gradually. Place familiar toys or treats inside. Never force your pet into the crate. Positive reinforcement is key.
  • Unpleasant odor: Thoroughly clean the fabric and fleece pad as per the maintenance instructions. Ensure the crate is completely dry before use or storage.

Choosing the Right Size:

To ensure the best fit for your pet, measure your pet's length from the tip of its nose to the base of its tail while standing, and its height from the top of its head to the floor while sitting. Add 4 inches (10 cm) to both measurements for adequate space.
