Setup Guide
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and place the espresso machine on a stable, flat surface. Ensure adequate space around the machine for ventilation and access to components.
- Water Tank Installation: Remove the water tank from the side of the machine. Rinse it thoroughly with fresh water. If using an AquaClean filter, insert it into the water tank as per the filter instructions. Fill the tank with fresh tap water up to the MAX indication. Slide the water tank back into place until it clicks securely.
- Bean Hopper: Open the lid of the bean hopper located on top of the machine. Pour fresh coffee beans into the hopper. Close the lid securely to maintain bean freshness.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded wall socket.
- Initial Rinse Cycle: Place a container under the coffee spout and the hot water spout. Turn on the machine. The machine will perform an automatic rinse cycle. Follow any on-screen prompts. This prepares the system for first use.
- LatteGo System Assembly: For milk-based drinks, assemble the LatteGo milk system by attaching the milk container to the frother unit. Ensure it is securely connected to the machine's milk spout.

Operating Instructions
- Power On: Press the power button to turn on the machine. Wait for the machine to complete its self-check and rinse cycle.
- Select Your Drink: On the intuitive touch display, select your desired beverage by tapping the corresponding icon (e.g., Espresso, Coffee, Cappuccino).
- Customize Your Drink (My Coffee Choice): Use the "My Coffee Choice" function to adjust settings such as coffee strength (bean icon), beverage volume (cup icon), and milk froth level (milk icon) to your preference.
- Prepare Milk-Based Drinks: If preparing a milk-based drink (e.g., Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato), ensure the LatteGo milk system is filled with milk and correctly attached. The machine will automatically froth and dispense the milk before or after the coffee, depending on the selected recipe.
- Start Brewing: Place your cup under the coffee spout (and milk spout if applicable). Press the start/play button to begin brewing.
- Adjust Spout Height: The coffee spout can be adjusted vertically to accommodate different cup sizes, preventing splashes and maintaining crema.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your PHILIPS 3300 Series Espresso Machine.
- LatteGo System Cleaning: The LatteGo milk system is designed for quick and easy cleaning. After each use, detach the two-part system and rinse it under running tap water. It is also dishwasher-safe for thorough cleaning.
- Drip Tray and Coffee Grounds Container: Empty and rinse the drip tray and the coffee grounds container daily or when prompted by the machine.
- Brew Group Cleaning: The brew group should be rinsed weekly under tap water. Remove it from the machine, rinse thoroughly, and allow it to air dry before reinserting.
- AquaClean Filter Replacement: The machine will indicate when the AquaClean filter needs to be replaced. Replacing the filter as prompted helps prevent limescale buildup and ensures purified water for up to 5000 cups.
- Descaling: Even with the AquaClean filter, occasional descaling may be required depending on water hardness and usage. The machine will guide you through the descaling process when necessary. Use only Philips descaling solution.

Troubleshooting
