5.2 Oiling the Blades

For optimal cutting performance and blade longevity, it is recommended to oil the blades regularly, especially after rinsing. Apply a few drops of clipper oil (not included) to the blades, then turn on the trimmer for a few seconds to distribute the oil. Wipe off any excess oil.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Trimmer not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. If the LED display shows low power, recharge the trimmer.
  • Trimmer not charging: Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to both the trimmer and the power source. Try a different USB-C cable or power adapter. Check if the charging port is clean and free of debris.
  • Poor cutting performance or pulling hair: The blades may need cleaning or oiling. Ensure the blades are free of hair and properly lubricated. The battery might be low; recharge if necessary.
  • Guide combs not fitting securely: Ensure the guide comb is correctly aligned with the trimmer blade and pushed down firmly until it clicks into place. If a comb consistently does not fit, it may be damaged.
