Setup Guide
1. Software Setup (Recommended before Hardware Installation)
It is recommended to set up the camera with the eufy Security app before physical installation.
- Download and install the eufy Security app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Sign in or create an account.
- Connect the Floodlight Camera to a power source using a USB-C charging cable and a 5V/2A power adapter (not provided). The floodlights will light up when in wired power mode.
- Wait until the LED indicator on the camera turns solid blue.
- In the eufy Security app, tap the '+' symbol in the top right corner to add a new device.
- Select "Floodlight Camera" and then "Floodlight Cam E340".
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the camera to your Wi-Fi network. You can choose to connect to your router directly or to a eufy HomeBase 3 (sold separately).
- Assign a name to your camera (e.g., "Front Door", "Backyard").
- If a firmware update is available, update it as soon as possible for optimal performance and bug fixes.

2. Hardware Installation
WARNING: Always turn off the power switch or circuit breaker before installation to prevent electrical shock.
- Securely install the mounting base plate to the wall, ceiling, or existing junction box using the appropriate screws (Bag A or C). Be careful not to overtighten the screws as the base plate is plastic.
- Connect the electrical wires: Use the pre-installed wire connectors to connect the ground wire to ground, hot to hot, and neutral to neutral. (Normally, wire colors are white, black, and green, or white, black, and bare wire).
- Carefully attach the main camera unit to the base plate and secure it with two screws from Bag B, using one screw on each side.
- Turn the power back on at the breaker and test the camera. The camera will perform a self-test and should be ready to go.
