Setup Guide

1. Package Contents

Before proceeding, ensure all items are present in the package:

  • CABLETIME USB C NVMe 14-in-1 8K Docking Station (CB14S)
  • USB-C to USB-C Cable (for host connection)
  • User Manual (this document)

2. Installing an M.2 SSD (Optional)

The docking station features an integrated M.2 SSD enclosure. Follow these steps to install an M.2 NVMe or NGFF SSD:

  1. Gently slide open the SSD compartment cover on the docking station.
  2. Carefully insert your M.2 NVMe or NGFF SSD into the slot, ensuring it is properly aligned with the keying. The enclosure supports 80mm, 42mm, and 30mm SSD lengths.
  3. Secure the SSD with the provided screw or retention clip, if applicable.
  4. Close the SSD compartment cover.

3. Connecting the Docking Station

  1. Connect the provided USB-C to USB-C cable from the "USB C Input" port on the docking station to a compatible USB-C port on your host laptop or computer.
  2. (Optional) For power delivery to your host device, connect a USB-C power adapter (up to 100W) to the "USB C PD" port on the docking station.
  3. Connect your external monitors to the HDMI and/or DisplayPort outputs on the docking station.
  4. Connect any USB peripherals (keyboard, mouse, external drives) to the available USB-A or USB-C data ports.
  5. For wired network access, connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ45 port.
  6. Insert SD or microSD cards into their respective slots for data access.
  7. Connect headphones or speakers to the 3.5mm audio jack.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

Press the "On/Off" button located on the front of the docking station to power it on or off. The LED indicator will illuminate when the device is powered on.

Display Configuration

Once connected, your operating system should automatically detect the external displays. You may need to adjust display settings (e.g., resolution, extended/mirror mode) within your computer's display settings.

Data Transfer

Network Connection
